❤ My 23 year old daughter popped in this weekend and took several sourdough items I’d just baked because she has a gluten intolerance. “Mom your stuff never upsets my stomach like other breads do”. 😊 My oldest daughter loves tea, but grabs my homemade herbal teas when she’s got ramps, migraines, can’t sleep or feels aching. My coworkers request teas and lotions I make saying they’re super healing over store bought items. I would love to start a selling platform - Thank you for this information!

Same . I found it to be overratted. Kobucha gives me the same feeling. I love the fizziness and flavor but no dehydration🎉

This is so full circle to me! I ordered some of her products a while back simply because I was looking for REAL gelatin. She sent me so many samples of teas with recipes, organic herbal lip balm, and seeds! I immediately fell in love because i love teas and herbs, and the “give your customers more than they expect” blew me away! Now, I get to meet the creators behind it! I will definitely be ordering more from her. Absolutely love this ❤

Great conversation! The one bad explosion of kombucha, second ferment with fresh pineapple, that I LET sit too many days at room temperature. My fault & it was a thinner glass wine bottle that broke. I always use heavy brewing bottles now. I love ginger, lemon & sugar to make a ginger ale beverage. Thanks & blessings 🤗🇨🇦🌻

Chicory was added to coffee to help ration the coffee supply during the Civil War in Louisiana. The people became accustomed to the flavor. When the coffee no longer needed to be rationed, the people missed the flavor of the chicory, so they still sell chicory coffee to this day.

"You are what you eat" just how real can this statement be. Besides teas which I'm submerged into. (TMI) When I had ulcers badly due too my auto immune I couldn't get into a doctor soon enough so I back tracked to last time I had break out what medicine they prescribed me and looked up what food has that in it and Grapefruit was the winner. I was eating two a day for 3 days it cleared up. Tea, food anything put in our body it becomes one with us so great you did this video I hope it inspires alot women go on herb investigation make apocothery for thier needs and learn more on benifits of ferment drinks for gut health! ❤

Spontaneous explosion is why they try to keep kombucha in the refrigerator section too. And they have started using cans which is probably safer! Still messy but not broken glass at least!

I think that the restriction on alcohol in pregnancy occurs in the medical field because there is no ethical way to test how much is too much. There are cultures where women have a glass of wine a day while pregnant, and there haven't been negative effects reported. The only thing that's known for sure is that at some point, there is such a thing as a dangerous amount. I steer clear of recreational alcohol while pregnant, but I'm not uncomfortable drinking kefir or kombucha.

Your eyes go side to side all the time and I always wonder if you are looking on Pinterest while talking to people or just deep in thought or reading the questions you'll be asking. I'm sure it is that last one (or middle one). hehe. Oh so interesting about kombucha. Never thought about that stuff before (I don't drink it though). CeAnne shared so much knowledge about all you talked about. Very cool! I have never canned. Cool to learn how canned vs. jar fermentation works.

What exactly is water Keefer/ milk Keefer?
@melissahowe6254
@melissahowe6254 2 ай бұрын
Its a bundle of yeast that will feed on sugar in water that you mix yourself/ the milk keifer specifically eats the sugar in milk. For any ferment the bundle of yeast is specific to the individual food. You cant use water keifer to make milk keifer or vice versa.

@melissahowe6254 thank you for your reply I guess I should have been more specific I understand the concept of colonized yeast like sourdough but what I was trying to ask is if it's more like soda just homemade and healthier for you is what I was trying to ask lol, but still thank you nonetheless 😊

@@mina.c9016 water kefir is like a soda, a fizzy fermented drink. Milk kefir is more like yogurt.

Water kefir is similar to kombucha, but ferments sugar water instead of sweet tea. You can bottle it with fruit/fruit juice and it will fizz up. The SCOBY looks like a bunch of grains instead of a solid piece. It's super yummy! And, as a previous commenter said, milk kefir is more like yogurt.
