I wish more people would give next gen a chancer. I'm an older 😅 40 career changer and I've been applying for jobs as Im going through college and getting nothing but radio silence. Can't afford to earn £5.50 an hour as an apprentice with a family so have to sink or swim. Got plenty of life experience just wish someone would give us a chance. Otherwise it's just going it on my own when I finish and making a go of it. It's the career I want so I've got to find a way to make it happen.

Every young lad that calls us looking for a start after getting 'college qualified' I give a week on site to see if we can find a diamond in the rough. Sadly most can only just manage to get to work on time with their boots on the right feet 😂
