Make with me: Victorian Valentine's puzzle purse tutorial

Hi everyone! This is a tutorial to make your own Victorian puzzle purse origami card! A perfect gift for Valentine's day, or just to give to friends, family or your partner on any occasion :)

Puzzle purses have been around for hundreds of years! Victorians used these origami cards as secret friendship letters and love tokens. The intricate folds create secret pockets and compartments. Often people would hide a small gift inside, like jewellery or even a lock of hair!
These purses were rich in symbolism, often decorated with floral patterns and hearts to convey messages of love. Sometimes there would be hidden messages and riddles to solve, and so the purses became tokens of sentiment and connection, the act of opening the purse and discovering its hidden layers and compartments added a layer of intimacy to the gift.
