Mine's a Black bug eyed beastie, 2009 -done over 32k and doesn't miss a beat. Keeps up with anything. Great bike and look forward to hearing more updates on how you get on with it.

I Changed the pads to EBC one's and the clicking noise has gone.... Also fitted the tail tidy and your right, it was a right bastard of a job.... The exhausts have gone in favour of a low boy, also I've fitted the newer model rear wheel as I think it looks better....

I got a yamaha yz shift lever from eBay. Cost about 12! Feels so much better changing gear. It is a cheap mod, well worth doing!

Great choice! as to the parts I used, they were all just eBay purchases, but due to the time passed since this video, I can no longer check my purchases sorry Justin. Have a look on Ali Express too, they always have a few bits for the Triumphs 😀

I swapped my original twin cans for a lowboy from SP Engineering. Looks so much better in my opinion. Cleans up the rear end lovely. Saved loads of weight too! Someone suggested taking the clamp off the wiring loom on the headstock, glad I did. It had already started to chafe but luckily the wires underneath were untouched. Just taped it up and cable tied it 👍🏼

Very common issue with the wires under the headstock, this One used to cut out when on full Left lock! I only found out form the guy who bought it from me, easy fix, but kinda scary

I just found a set off eBay that worked well, very cheap but effective, it was some time ago now, so I cannot really remember exactly what I bought sorry, but fro memory it was just Ice White replacements, the Ones with the Blue shade at the top. Thanks for commenting :)

Hey bud, interested in buying an 07 with 55k miles on it. Wondering if I should with mileage. It’s very beautiful and well taken care of. Has it been reliable for you?

In my experience these are very reliable, but like most bikes, service is the key, make sure the suspension has been serviced at least Once, (I mean a full strip down of front and rear components) I would think the reg/recitifier have been changed a couple of times too, but check that, and the sprag clutch too. valve clearance checks are a must also, so when was the last One done? hoe this helps a little

Budget Bucket List Cars And Bikes it does help, thanks. The bike was previously owned by an older gentleman who really put the time in to make it last. I can’t imagine him abusing the bike seeing as how it made it to the 55k mark. The current owner was given a whole folder by the older gentleman and threw it away. He says he can only remember the forks and other suspension components being replaced.

Yeah I kinda cocked up with this One, as I thought I had started it up in the first video, so forgot to do it in the second, no excuses for that, sorry :( But I do have another video on these bikes which I DO actually start the bike ;)

Like the videos but imo, bar end mirrors, shorty levers and rim tape are the holy trinity of tat. If I was buying it they'd be taken off straight away, along with the fake carbon on the filler cap. Original is best.

I can see why you might think wheel decals might be a bit tacky, but Black wheels on a Black bike tend to get lost really, (great if your going for a stealth look though) as for the bar end mirrors, even Triumph are putting these on as a stock option now, so they are very popular to clean up the look a little, and after market levers are a must IMO - simply as they are fully adjustable, and that's got to be a good thing :) (the carbon gas cap cover is to hide any wear and tear to the Aluminium over the Years)

These things go in and out of fashion, maybe I am just out of fashion. Just dont fit one of those BMW GS style rear mudguards/number plate holders to your next bike, that will really get me going :)
