I used that gimmick on Tartaglia in the boss fight. I built my Barbara to have increased healing, so with her abilities + Beidou’s burst she basically becomes an unkillable rapid fire taser gun that heals all the team members every time she attacks. Even if you’re not good at dodging attacks you can just tank the damage and heal it all back which is pretty op.

Something you can do but it's kinda difficult is perfect counter the explosive barrels, so you hit them and use the E in the exact moment so you can use the barrels to take out a group of enemies with the aditional damage of the couter

Here's a tip to help normal attack damage. Since all animations beyond the second are slower, it's optimal to stop there and start the combo over again. While you can try to animation cancel by dashing or jumping, but its better to do setup timing by going back and forth (forward-back or left-right) as the second animation is ending to do a move cancel. If that is a bit difficult, you can also triple tap a direction just after you press the second attack and it should time it right to start a stutter step that you'll cancel with your attack. Done right you shouldn't be able to see either movement, but even if you screw up and do see movement, it's usually still faster and better damage than doing the normal attack string

@@BlankHero I think it's a close call between the Blackcliff slasher and the Animus if you're planning to use Beidou as your main dps. If you managed to get your critical rate and damage up, the slasher might have an advantage but getting the Animus is way easier and its attack stat scales well with Beidou's counter. The Sacrificial Greatsword can be a great weapon if your playstyle depends on her ult plus you have the chance to do her parry twice every now and then. I think the Rainslasher is not an ideal weapon for her because its just too dependent on elemental reaction.

@@guohltehv7383 yeah, but for my current build, Beidou will be support for Childe, so I'll be relying on her ult most of the time so Sacrificial is starting to look compromisable. If she were main DPS, I'd definitely go Blackcliff, but she's not, the chances of her finishing off an opponent is unlikely, since she won't be out most the time.

@@BlankHero Oh yeah, the Sacrificial looks perfect for her role as support. It will charge her ult quicker and you can also dish out occasional parries when you pull her out. That could work! I was also thinking of the same combo if I ever pull Childe from a wish.

The reason why I stuck with Beidou for so long was the fact that not only was her elemental a full parry when timing it (like in SF3S) but it counts as a focus attack as well when holding it (like in SFIV). She's fun. I recently discovered if you hold the button as you time it to get the bubble shield, you can actually push back enemies surrounding you (like advancing guard from mvc3). And if you can't wait for an opponent to attack you, you can proc the elemental skill by walking into world/environment hazards (like fire) to immediately set the conditions of "being attacked" as you guard.

I would like to mention something about Beidou counter, the fact is if you have cryo, hydro, or pyro status on Beidou and you hit enemies with the counter, you will apply superconduct, electro charge or overload (the overload will apply around you and not on the enemies you touch) which is useful if did take damage from these elements and want to purify these status with damage bonus.

You have to use her uLt and change to ranged character. Even barbara works. Barbara will execute beidous Ult on ruin hunter. I use this against oceanid birds

What i usually do is use my Beidou ult and switch to Barbara, she can still hit it even if it's all the way up.. It'll die of Eletrio+Hydro combo... It's super effective all the time.. Here's a small detail: you can cancel Beidou's normal combo with her counter, but not her charge attack. Also, every effect in her Talents that procs when Beidou takes damage will still activate if she counters an attack - technically, it's not about her taking damage, but getting hit.

Pair her with an electro char. Fischl with high energy recharge works best. Keep her Oz on the field, switching between E and Q. That way Beidou will charge her Q way faster.

I'm still relatively new, and beidou is my current main. She's an awesome character, but I've already picked up the bad habit of just relying on counters. Cleaning a camp in one strike is just so satisfying! My patchwork build for her gave her monstrous damage. I got to work to break the habit and make her do normal and charged attacks, too. lol

So for the record in regards to the damage when showing the attack speed boost. It takes about 3.5 seconds to do the normal 5 combo and about 5 seconds to do 10 Charged attacks + the one ending attack. If we're assuming you do 7 normal attacks in that same 5 second span, that would deal 899% of your attack in total. While completing your charged combo with 10 attacks and then the ending deals a total of 1050% your attack in total. However, it's important to note two other facts. The first being that with the normal attack barrage you're already in the middle of your other swings and you're going to be completing the rest of the normal attack combo for additional damage, while with your charged attack combo you just ended it with your ending swing and there's no follow up. The second and more important factor is that you're out of stamina if you do the charged, while with the normal you'll still have full stamina and will be able to dodge. I think that the charged attack is very very nice for enemies like Hilichurls and Treasure Hunters because of its stunning capabilities. However, in most scenarios it may be more beneficial to just stick with normal attacks. It just depends on whether or not you believe full stamina drain is worth a 16% increase to damage over that 5 second interval. Whether I'm actually right or not with any of this is a different manner though!

I use Dilic as my main dps and Beidou as a support for him. But I use her as my main dps in my second team in abyss. She does a great job as both and is very underrated. Her damage output is definitely less than Diluc but thats to be expected considering he's a 5 star. Her counter definitely makes up for it though if you give her high crit rate and dmg

It gives a nice boost to energy recharge which I like because her ult gives good overload reactions and it allows you to pop off counters a lot more frequently. You could also probably use Blackcliff Slasher for crit dmg or Serpent Spine for crit rate. But I dont have those. Also Rainslasher is great if you use her as dps

I seriously believe that Beidou should be top tier. Yeah I get that she doesnt do as much damage as normal dps characters like Childe, Kequing, Diluc and so on but her kit is so well rounded. Especially at Constitution 4 when she gets electro on every attack. that's just so good for causing nonstop elemental reactions. Pair her with a Chongyun and you'll pretty much be superconducting for the entire fight. I can go on all day but I just feel the need to raise awareness that Beidou is one of the best chars in the game and so much fun! She's also my main so thanks for shining some light on her DSGaming. You did a great job. However you forgot to mention the fact that SHE KICKS HER BLADE WHICH IS REALLY AWESOME!

Cause I haven't seen anyone mention this. Beidou's shield with her E is Electro so when she gets hit by any elemental attack that triggers a reaction with Electro (Pyro, Cryo, Hyrdo), she will instantly get max damage as it counts as 2 hits (The initial attack then the reaction damage). So against any elemental attack, there is no need for you to time the counter perfectly.

Thanks for the video! The first part felt a bit confusing. Let me make sure I understand this. The ways to do a perfect counter are: 1.) you let go right when getting hit for a perfect counter (best way and probably the hardest way especially doing quickly off switch) 2.) take two hits and let go for a perfect counter (pretty sure this is the only way before ascension 1) 3.) hold E til it consumes the shield by taking so much dmg that it lets go for you (or a massive hit) and this is also a perfect counter? Are those all right?

I fell in love whit Beidou during this banner, I don't know what it was, but I needed her. But I'm level 36 and I have already spend a lot of resourses in Lisa, my favorite character and Main DPS, Mona, her main support, Klee, my second DPS, and MC, her support and long run investment. the timing for perfect counter is actually pretty lenient, you have about .5 seconds before you get hit to start holding E and it will charge the counter to max DMG. Also, releasing E immediately after getting hit will NOT proc a perfect counter, the reason you got max damage at 1:44 is because you took two instances of damage from the multiple ruin guard rockets.

I got beidou c6 because I wanted Childes C1. Trying to make a comp with the two of them. Childe as main carry and beidou as backup. Just trying out the best 2 supports or healers. I like the two of them a lot.

Another tip, or rather a fun fact that I found out today after pulling C4 Beidou (yay!) is that the 20% bonus electro damage that you get from C4 does NOT scale from your full, artifact boosted normal attack damage. Like if you put on Gladi on her, it won't increase the damage of the electro ticks you get, only her physical damage. However, giving her electro damage bonus will increase the damage of those ticks.

Also, C4 mentions that you have to take damage for it to activate, but that's not actually quite correct. You don't have to lose any hp, so if you perfect counter with her and avoid the damage itself, it still activates. So basically you'll just have to get hit, not take damage. Fire also works for this.

I just got beidou and i'm planning to use her as a 2nd dps when childe's e is in cooldown. Her q is also very good with childe to proc electrocute constantly

There is a way to do more than 11 attacks in a charged attack, something i found(must be done precisely) When you hold down attack for the charged attack as soon as beidou lifts the claymore,start spamming attack button and this basically uses all the stamina up to the end to do more attacks You see how in the video it automatically ended with some stamina,when you do this it totally uses up the stamina

Tip here: If the ruin guard does the jump attack, try to move the center where he is gonna land and press Tidecaller, you'll stun him and its a guaranteed CRIT

U can do more charge atk swings instead of holding M1 try clicking rapidly it in order for this to work hold M1 now when u see the animation for the charge atk rapidly click M1
