I love this. I would love to hear how you organize your budget. Not necessarily, your personal details BUT like how you budget and your categories. You may have already done that but I am fairly new.

I love egg roll in a bowl and make it often. I quit buying bagged cole slaw and just chop up or grate my own carrots, cabbage, onion maybe. My husband likes this on a heated tortilla and adds soy sauce, low sodium. If I have cooked rice we put it in top of that. It reheats well. Often we make it with impossible sausage which sells for about 4.99 a chub at Wal Mart. It comes in spicy or savory and both are good. Soy product. Thaws pretty quickly in the fridge. Might be 12 oz. You are doing great. Carole

I wish I had footage of them from this video. Unfortunately I didn’t film them this particular week. I do have a meal planning playlist here with videos that shows many of the finished meals. Here is the link to my meal planning playlist! : kzbin.info/aero/PLRKoAjcxbefu2myNPRdkdAqOpJ1l3nEEa&si=1u5kuTjQ_luAb4t1

Good advice on planning out monthly meals by starting with what is in the pantry. Saves money.

You mentioned end of school year teachers' gifts. I thought you were home schoolers. If you're ever in a pinch, you can make butter milk by adding vinegar to the milk and let it sit for a few minutes. I no longer buy buttermilk because I never seem to be able to us it before it goes bad. Do you ever do "no spend" months? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the helpful tip! I’ve consider a no spend month but never done it. And we are homeschoolers! We just participate in a University model, so we have a balance of home and “in-person-school” days 🙂
