I love this cut 💓 would it work for side bangs ? I have a cow lick so need to have a slight side parting and I find my hair is super hard to grow in the front so I always have bangs from breakage I’m guessing 🤔

It’s EXCEEDINGLY frustrating. It’s as if no one knows how to cut hair in a style, except a few stylists on you tube. Summer is so talented & skillful. I have found people over the years who will cut my hair perfectly, so I take pictures of their cut. Never ever have they been able to recreate their own cut. I do not understand that!

I went to school to do hair 15 years ago, weren’t taught anything but medium and thick (white girl, straight or wavy) hair. Us fine hair babes and poc are just left out. Hairdressers will not have a clue unless they took additional education on their own time after passing the boards.

Just had a question not for this particular cut but, was wondering how come my hair tends to flip out more on one side than the other. it drives me crazy because even when I straighten it, it will begin to flip out later on in the day. Am I doing something wrong?

No, probably not doing something wrong. Do you tend to sleep on the side that causes problems? My right side I sleep on, gives me the most problems. Also sometimes our hair just wants to be a pain in the a$$!!

Retired hairstylist here. Yes, this cut would work great on curly, fine hair. Make sure your stylist always uses the scissors and not the razor because the razor will cause frizz.

when you flip up the hair to cut each line does that make the hair flip up when the person does their own hair? it would seem like it would. So I never let my hair dresser cut my hair like that. Is this something I am over concerned about or have you noticed that your clients complain about their hair flipping up?

That can easily be addressed with under cutting (not the current undercut style where they buzz it off, but an actual old school under cut so it cups under.)
