I like Lee Ha Rin or Hwang Ha Ru. "Ha" is the first 2 letters of Harley, my English name. "Lee" from the last part of my English name and also comes from Lee Minho from Stray Kids. Haru is a nickname I've had for a long time, from various Asian friends. Haru is also pretty close to Harley and Hwang from Hwang Hyunjin from Stray Kids. I can't choose!

I've been thinking of adopting a Korean name as I want to get into the game dev industry, specifically e-sport games. I've always wanted to go to Korea and study something, probably language or culture, and I've always been smitten with names starting with Tae, as the meaning of Tae has a similar meaning to a syllable in my chosen English name. When I am trying to learn korean, I have a really hard time with the, I suppose "s" sound? I tried an online tutor, who tried to help. I can't seem to say it right, im the name in this video it confused me again, because the letter that is supposed to have the softer "s" sound is labled as a t when spelled out in english aphabet? Saet, the last letter I thought was also the "s" sound? I have such a hard time with this, I was wondering if this t sound was something that can help? Should it be more of a between of s & t? like where you place your tongue when you make the sound?

I'm more into making my name as more related as posible (by meaning or pronunciation) For example in japanese I chose to go by pronunciation 御女主(gomesu)愛世阿 (aisea). So I though of 고 for family name, since is first sylable of Gómez. For name mine literally means 바람 (is this the sino of the chinese feng 風?), but I don't really like it. From the video I liked the 하늬 one, but westerly... is there a northerly wind version?

None of the names I picked are on the list. 😂😅 But I looked up lists of Korean names, and think I'll choose something like 관미 (Kwan-Mi) as my Korean first name, and 용 (Yong) as a last name. My English first name means "Maiden" and I think 미 is close enough to that; my middle name has the same meaning as 관, so I just flipped them. And 용 simply because I like dragons. Hopefully it's okay. If I got any of the meanings wrong, I apologize. 😅

Does 서한별 sounds good? At first I wanted Han as my last name but after watching this I wanted 별 in my first name but since I didn't want my name to only have 2 syllabus , I picked 한별 but then 한한별 doesn't sounds good and since I also like 서 I changed it to 서한별.......... I'm complicated I know 💀💀

So I decided after watching your You Tube video that I would choose a Korean name with meaning. I came up with Jeong Choon Hee. The reason being that Jeong = "quiet" and Choon Hee = "girl born during spring". I was born during spring (in Australia, so in September) and I am a fairly quiet person so I felt it was apt. However, just wondering what your opinion about it is? This one is my preferred choice but my other option is Cheong Ha Eun. Cheong = gentle, quiet, Ha = summer, great, talented and Eun = kindness, mercy. Cheong I chose for the same reasons as Jeong. Ha for summer which is my favourite season and Eun because I am a nurse and kindness goes with that job.

I spent a lot of time pondering over mine. For the last name, I was torn between 한 (Han) and 보 (Bo). In the end, I did decide on 한, despite the fact 보 contains the beginning sound of my English last name. For my first name, I picked 명숙 (Myeong-Suk). I think 한명숙 sounds really rather pretty.

Long ago, i've tried make my name with some korean generator name website. It's come out as 한슬라. But i think it's not sound too good so i changed it to 한라슬. But after that i tried to create my name that have some meaning. So i use my real name that have 'Grace' in it. It came out as 은혜. And i love how it sound. I want to use 한 as last name but i'm not quite sure. Can u kindly recommend what last name that suit it more? Sorry for my broken english, it's not my mom language. Thankyou!!
