It definitely makes the footage easier to watch. With the stuff I dont need to worry about (the peripherals) being "out of focus" it lets my brain just ignore it. It feels like Im able to just pay attention straight ahead without feeling like Im missing stuff to the sides. Way cool!

How do you know when to use which(e.g. ND16 vs 32)? Or what about at night?

It's all about the amount of available light. If it's a sunny day without clouds you can opt to try a darker ND filter. You just have to adjust the shutter speed accordingly.

I leave it on auto but.if I were to set it manually I'd stick to 4500K
