Does it stain the natural nails or not? Or you protect the nails with clear acrylic first before you use this mixture? On health view, does any of ur clients complaints about it? You will need to apply a clear layer of acrylic powder before apply colored acrylic. That goes for any colored acrylic powder

I also have started doing my own nails as well and got a beginner kit and it came with three-color powders and really small ones of color. I think making your own would be better because you can have the colors to your liking but it will be a bit messy.

I’ve tried this and my acrylic always has small chalk clumps no matter how much I blend it with my drill. What am I doing wrong ?

Take your drill with your sanding band and go inside your container as a final mix to make sure you don’t have any chunks inside.

You can also try a mortar and pedestal to get the last bit

Make sure you are using a good pastel. Cheap pastels have more filler instead of pigment. And make sure you are getting true pastels, chalk doesn't have a good color payoff. Definitely don't pick up oil pastels. As an artist, I can tell you there is a huge difference in the quality in the pigment levels in cheap versus higher quality pastels!!

You can take your efile and run it through your container or you can get a coffee grinder and run it through that as well!

So glad I came across your channel I’m a new subscriber and I also do nails at home but I have a nice room off the back if my house that is enclosed porch with 6 windows so I keep all my nail stuff in my room as wheel out my little cart to do my nails out in my sunroom question do you like the YN monomer is it super strong smelling? I’m looking for a new monomer anyone have any suggestions please let me know what you prefer & does it make the monomer less effective if it’s a milder odor not being a tech but rather a girl who does her own nails at home fir health reasons I can’t go to a public salon I am disabled and have no immune system thanks to a drunk driver I have no pancreas spleen or gall bladders he lack of pancreas -yes you can li’e without it albeit very limited life I am alive and that’s all that matters thanks to the Lord fir saving me but I need a milder smelling monomer thanks for everything!
