Today I'm being inspired by the beautiful spring weather that we are having down under (Australia). In my self-imposed challenge to create my own scrapbook collection, I begin this first mixed media project by creating a background paper! I show you how I selected the colours, mediums and tools which I used to develop this first feminine hand-painted background paper. I draw inspiration from the stunning daffodils in my garden and add motif elements which complement my other selected collection papers (*See Collection video number 1. • Make your own Scrapboo... ). You will learn how to create your own homemade background scrapbook paper, which can help you use up your scrapbook/art supplies and potentially save your budget. It's an easy process, to develop your own collection kit supplies, selecting materials/media from your scrapbook/art stash and connecting the mood and feel of the products within your own handmade creations.
Later, I will show you how to create both feminine and masculine background papers and embellishments to build your own kits, using mixed media products and tools. So, make sure you hit the subscribe button to learn how to create your own amazing products.
