Hey there! You don't need to finish the little gap as the fabric is pressed in and holds fine. But if you'd like to, you can use some small hand stitches to hold it down on each side. I've not found it necessary though. Hope that helps :) xx

Yes! Just the same technique. I have used a bed sheet before, for a huge bag! 2 tips - make sure the channel you sew around the edge is wider, so it's easy to pull tight. Also use thicker cord for the drawstring. Good luck! xx

HI there! For a really big mat, I'd purchase a cheap duvet cover and use that :)

Hi, have almost finished making a couple of these for my niece and nephew but I can't work out what to do with the raw edge that is left at the gap. Can anyone help me out? Thanks and Merry Christmas xx
