I'm so happy coming across your video today. I watched the Martha Stewart video on how to make this purse. I bought the kit and I made the purse as seen on the show. In the kit it has all the pattern pieces and instruction to make the professional look but I could not figure it out until today. Hi there, thanks for sharing this :) One tip I've found for putting glue into small places is to buy needle-point syringes or small applicator bottles...cheap from ebay and Amazon. The glue goes precisely in the gaps or seams where you want it, and then you can spread as necessary - far less mess :)

I'd love to see a tutorial that is just about stabilizers and interfacings. I've always made do with whatever I had on hand, all those products are confusing. Last time I followed a pattern and all the recommended fusibles, etc., the result was so professional looking and I want to know on my own what to use.

Great clutch! My head was swimming, with all those pieces, until you got each interfacing attached where it belongs. I know you're trying not to drag it out, but sometimes it's more helpful to viewers to show how to do the step instead of describing and showing it already finished. Your explanations are crystal clear, though, which is why I watch! I want to try this kind of "layering interfacing" on a zipper pouch for a wristlet.

Thank you very much for this video. I bought the pattern but could not figure it out till I saw your video. I do have a question about the out fabric and the lining fabric pattern. The lining pattern is slanted at the bottom. The top measures 14.5" and the bottom is 14.25" (large purse pattern). Is there a reason for that. Thanks again

I am working on my clutch, going by the pattern instructions after I watched your video for the 3rd time and I don't understand one of the instructions. it is a sentence in instruction number 1: "Trim lining and interfacing at dotted lines at top and sides".
