This video is educational. I'm happy to play with people who play with proxies but if you're not, that's okay also. For those in need of respectable quality proxies, costing roughly $0.10/ea this information is for you.

now when you sleeve em are you just puttin in the sleeve or a regular card behind it ?? and you said 100lbs paper ?
@Road_to_Tolaria Жыл бұрын
Hi and good question. When i used to print on regular laser jet paper, then I would need to sleeve them with an additional playing card behind them to make them less floppy. The 100lb paper stock is rigid enough that they can be put directly into the card sleeves. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Bring that email on your smart phone to the print desk and ask them to print from that. I'd recommend to bring a real magic card with you to compare size. On rare occasions, their calibration is off. Great video. I would add using a steel ruler and a hobby knife instead of scissors I found gave better results. And you have one of those hobby mats to cut on, same as this guy has under his keyboard.

Thank you very much for sharing. Those are great suggestions. Since the time that I made this video, the process has become more refined. Still using the guillotine to break down the sheets to square cornered cards. However, I've purchased a corner cutting tool from Amazon and it's a real game changer. Quicker, better and overall more satisfying :)
@gislo6 ай бұрын
@@Road_to_Tolaria Nice, would u happen to have a link for that tool? Also, how do you do with white bordered cards? Anything different from black border? I just to put cards in back and thin paper on top, with the.black border from the real card the cuts would not be as visible.
@Road_to_Tolaria6 ай бұрын
@gislo I don't make white border proxies generally and the reason is that it's harder to cut a mixed sheet of black and white border cards. One or the other is fine and you would cut them exactly the same way. Since many of the proxies I make only exist in black border, that is why I went this route.
