I remember reusing a book cover, the one that we could get from school supply shopping, and it was a stretchy fabric material that easily went over different sized books, except large science books, lol. And with using duck tape, it makes it unique to use different colors or layers.

"Noone wears slap bracelets" lol Back when i was in construction, i had one with just the measuring tape. Slap it on to always have a way to measure on hand! Not very long (10" or so), but plenty for many tasks.

I thought you'd completely lose the original curvature when making the metal yield to a different curvature 🤔 Also, use reflective tape for biking or jogging. Make some for the ankles too or around your upper arms or legs, elbows or knees.
