Just started watching your tutorial and already learned something I've not seen anyone show yet...dragging the layers in Layer panel (shortcut) to move back/forward instead of using the DS "Arrange" function or mouse right click. I'm an Office Manager so shortcuts for ANYTHING are extremely helpful! 🤗💖

Glad it was helpful! I love shortcuts too :D

Yes you can cut these types of design on the Joy as long as you size them to fit.

you can also use the letter space at top and decrease till touching. that way you can still change the font. Once you ungroup you can no longer change the font
@CraftWithSarah3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can do it that way too. This is quite an old video now, and since it was made Cricut have introduced font kerning which means script font letters now automatically touch and you don't need to manually change them any more :)

I love to watch your videos but I need to tell you that yes you can un-weld. If you weld and need to go back all you need to do it’s just hit the arrow to undo you don’t need to highlight or anything else just hit the arrow and it will un-welded, hope this help you a little bit. Thank you for teaching others your wisdom with the Design space, God bless!!!
@CraftWithSarah4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nanett, thank you for the tip. The undo button does work but only if you haven't closed the project - if you close it and open it again then you can't undo anything. Also if you have done lots more work to the design since you welded it and then notice something wrong and need to "unweld" then it's a shame to have to undo all the more recent changes you have made to go back to undo it :)

How do I create different layers to cut in different materials
@CraftWithSarah2 жыл бұрын
Either don't weld the layers together when you are designing so they are all separate still, or you can use the "contour" tool on your finished design to split it into different sections that can be coloured differently: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2q8dGVubLWfrq8

Is this the same process if you to spilt the sunflower in the middle and put a name in the middle?
@CraftWithSarah4 жыл бұрын
You would still use the "Slice" tool but it's a little bit different as you would need both sides of the sunflower still, but put a gap in the middle for the name. I'm actually going to be releasing a video on how to do just that in October :)
