Ive been learning piano slowly over the years. I had always been convinced(told) its very hard to start, harder than a guitar. But there are so many little tricks to get a great sound. You don't even have to be a good player, and Im loving it. SO THANK YOU

Hiya Jack. Just want to thank you for the piano tuition vids. They’re really different and your presentation is fantastic. Have you done any videos on how to find your way around a synth / workstation? I bought a Yamaha mx 88 before I found your channel. Haven’t got much idea about how to get the best from it. 😄

Excellent tip! I would really love to see more simple tips like this (especially your bit about how you're using your right hand in this improvisation). Thanks!

Use the right thumb. I'm currently re-training myself to not stretch my left hand on the bass guitar (to speed up my fretting) so although I could reach I won't.

Geez, how big are your hands, Jack? i just tried it and there's no way my hands can make that stretch! Will have to the 2-handed option.

Nice tip. Jack hit som 1,6,3 instead of 1,5,3 though =) At 5:00 from E and up to C. Nobody noticed?

Great but that stretch is quite tough with small hands.

Your trick on left hand is called playing 10ths and something Jazz players and classical music do all the time. You'll find most pianist with big hands use 10th to spread their voicings out.

One of the reasons I love older Yamaha keyboards is the keys are just that little bit skinnier and my FFS allows me to do it.
