Ive owned the Apache strap since July. Definitely helps with the comfort and the weight distribution. I’ve also ordered the new Pimax top strap to give that a try, but I think the Apache may still win for comfort.

Not just for the Crystal, I had the same setup (balancer/Apachy strap) on my G2, which is now on my Quest 3/Elite strap, as I have a external pocket 20000mAh battery, works great.

@VRFlightSimGuy Ordered it a week ago... The issue i still have is the fastener in the back...cant rest my head on m'y headrest (next level racing Boeing Seat). Any vidéo link about that issue? Also, i was told i Can get dead pixels if the screens are exposed to light (Sun and lightball... I have a fpv drones and goggles and it s a known issue. So if this does apply to the pimax... Why dont they tell us and sell lense/screen protection

Just ordered a Crystal.. my first VR. Does anyone have any suggestions for must-have Crystal addons/accessories that I should get to improve the Crystal flight sim experience, similar to this? I'm a pilot and new to VR, and I'm excited to try it with my 4090. Thanks for the great content Flight Sim Guy. I've found it really helpful. The immersion seems insane with these things.

I have this, the headstrap and counter balance, both 100g and 200g versions. Do they help, yes, they help a lot. Does it make the headset 'all day comfy'? Absolutely not. I have pre ordered the official Crystal headstrap, hopefully it does an even better job.

I’m enjoying the Crystal with this kit plus the thicker face pad. Together, they make it reasonably comfortable (but still heavy). I’ve also been using these kits going back to the G2 and will continue to. On more general Crystal topics, there is an MSFS wishlist topic for quad view rendering. I can’t link it or this will be blocked, but we should all vote it up!

Just fitted mine last night. Only tested it quickly but seems to do the trick for me. I note you have the Apache strap further back than instructions show.

I can highly recommend this Balance Kit. I had ordered the kit for my Varjo and Pimax and I can say, I have absolutely no problems to wear my headset for hours with the comfort kits. Its funny , some reviewers just complain about comfort, bash Pimax and call it a day. Ignoring the fact that even Meta headsets have comfort issues out of the box and require third party assistance.

Exactly!!! The Quest 3 hurt my face after 20 minutes with the stock interface and awful soft strap.
