Adelina, the first of your vids I happened onto was your Tour. 3 things attracted me immediately - a real sofa, not a hard bench - and placed horizontally across width rather than vertically across length. 2nd - a Real kitchen, beautifully fitted out. And third, a Real bedroom with walk around bed. I've never lived in a tiny house and probably never shall but yours is as close to perfection as I've seen. Well done. You've nailed it!

I have an inbuilt wood heater in my lounge room and the tv above. It’s not a very big lounge room but it’s painted in nice warm colours and is so cosy. Sometimes if I want some extra cosy, I’ll put a KZbin fireplace video on the tv so it looks like I have 2 fireplaces on top of each other. Very nice place to sit in winter.

I agree, a comfy sofa and soft ambient light is my preference for a cozy space; along with a flickering candle, or two, and a fire in our woodstove. Our dogs like it too! I have enough space for an apartment size sofa and matching ottoman. This is 76” and means I can take a nap (being 5’ myself helps). I can also move the ottoman to either side of the sofa to make a sectional or use it as extra seating on its own. This was the best gift I could have given myself to make my apartment my home.

I like lots of faux fur cushions & throws! Candles are a must! Our wood burning stove makes our small home really cosy and sometimes it's too cosy & we have to open all the windows n doors 😂 also our 2 cats make us feel cosy 😊 although when I'm going out to work and it's freezing I envy them snuggled in their wee blankets 😊 x

I absolutely agree about the sofa and having one that is comfy. It is true that many tiny houses have those built-in ones that look incredibly uncomfortable to me! Some tiny houses barely have a living room space, as the kitchen takes up the bulk of the space. I love your tiny house, Adelina! ♥

And I've always thought that your tiny house has the best layout I've ever seen, primarily because you didn't consider the living room as an afterthought. Most of us don't live in our bed, so we need a place to relax comfortably. And you created that perfectly.

Hi Adelina! Cozy Sophie, on your cozy sofa! So cute! I love frameless candles at night. Just recently purchased a large ceramic vase (kinda like a ginger jar) with cut outs all around it. I placed a strand of lights inside, with different color options, and three modes on it for flash, strobe, fade, and smooth. Love the remote for it, and a timer option. Hopefully spring is right around the corner for you! It's so nice to get outdoors.Tomorrow we will reach 70 degrees in the Midwest. I'm loving it! Have a great week Adelina!

I so LOVE whenever I see an ACTUAL sofa in a THOW (tiny house on wheels) that is comfortable. To often the ones we see scream 'your not welcome'. Here it is March and we are in the 80's in the Sierras near Angels Camp California and its the fact our place is well insulated so it's cooler inside. Otherwise it would be 80+* inside.

We always, have fluffy soft throws on the back of our sofas nothing nicer than pulling them over you on cold winters night... We have a log burner also so that for my husband is essential a real fire he could not live without🔥.we have a cat. And a dog and I agree fur babies always make a house a home 🏡🐕🐈.. I loved your approach when designing your tiny house. You designed it as your full time home and put so much thought into the function and what your needs are. I think people should think about what it would be like living comfortably in a tiny house while they are building it. Obviously, you did just that, considering you were designing your home that you hoped to enjoy for many years. You home is warm and very cozy as well functional. You did an amazing job!

I agree about planning for how you want to live in your tiny. It seems to me sometimes there is an over emphasis on cramming functionality into square footage, which may be a necessity, but we're thinking and investigating for our tiny to be as livable comfort-wise as may be possible (not yet built, still in early stages.) Hi Sweetie, What a great topic especially given these past several days I’ve had. Watched earlier but didn’t get a chance to comment. I agree w/all you’ve said & as at least one other person asked what type of Bloom mattress do you have? Are there different types to research? Maybe it’s in the show notes but I don’t think I saw it there. Totally agree abt comfy sofas. Ppl who have chosen storage ones often complain the cushions sag overtime. The cushions themselves would need to be made cushy for your tushy & filled with soft but firm foam I imagine & probably reinforced to not collapse. I’m glad you’re loving yours. I would never be without fairy or other ambient lighting. I bought the most stunning cobalt blue color that have 900!! bulbs - lol. My artsy daughter strung them in a very interesting way that I love-she turned them into art. They light up the whole street & I’m only partially kidding but ppl love them. Usually stick with warm white but got bold this time. Thnx for being there for me. Just woke from a terrible dream where I was sweating head to toe, dehydrated, no water, trying to get the attn of Daniel to give me a clean white tee I could sleep in rather than the clothes I had on. Dreams can be so weird. I finally woke up & he was as in my dream on his laptop beside me. I said I’m so hot & he turned the fan up. “I said, “I just had (another) nightmare. Did I say anything?” He said, “You said you were hot & dehydrated & going to die without water.” I told him to pls gently wake me up when he hears me in distress like that. Do you ever have bad dreams or nightmares? I don’t know how I would do without someone to comfort me after one. Even Dylan Thomas, my cat, was looking at me. I’m surprised he wasn’t playing on a miniature laptop too. Good god! Have a great week. Looking forward to Wednesday’s recipe.

Idk what to do about the gas & electric. Some people would say I’m NUTS, I’d agree if I had income. Enough of that. He’ll get a pain medication refill, I pray, and some well deserved relief. The other stuff clogged him up, so I’ve been making sure he’s getting enough water. Gtg, he’s about to get baby shots of H2O. God Bless you, Stef!!! Would your vet willing to reduce fees or maybe put the sevices on a payment plan? I am going to pray on this and hopefully the assistance that you need will come. My cat Bruce Lee chooses where he wants to sleep and it often changes. But when it’s really cold in winter, he always sleeps beside me. I think that boy cats are more independent than girl cats, maybe I’m wrong, maybe it depends on their personality. But it’s true that they are incredible companions.
