'Make yourself visible': CHP advises drivers after dense fog causes 12 crashes in Fresno County

Don't underestimate the fog. When I was still working Full-Time and I drove out the shop yard in the service truck whether it would be to Dinuba, Reedley, Orange Cove, or Orosi and the fog was very bad in addition to rolling down both windows at the rural intersections I would also have to shut the motor off to listen for any oncoming vehicles before proceeding through the intersections. Fog is very bad out there. Better to take extra precautions in getting to your destination to take your time then not getting there at all.
