I used to worry about getting places on time on the bus, until a guy said “I get there when I get there.” there’s positives about enjoying life when you can.

I learned after losing my only child when he was not yet 15, blew a hole in my wife and my souls. I can relate to Kahlo because I am learning to create through my grief (I am a photographer). I have connected a local artist who found the power to create after her personal tragedy. It would have been easy to put the camera down and quit. However, God/Source/Universe gives you the strength to create in the face of grief.

I don't accept my suffering, I don't rebel against it, and I don't transmute it. I don't give or receive. I create and destroy.

I'm not even kidding, but the nost meritably badass people my age when I was a teenager were hardcore Frida fans - they also didn't commodify their love of her, it was a private thing that sort of just spilled over if you ever visited their house.

Her expression looks more like she was trying to mimic the Mona Lisa. It's also the look you have when you're observing something deeply. I feel like "I don't give a f*$%" ain't it.
