@@kmbfloral3319 But there is a point to having talent. It can factor into what what makes you a hero in someone's eyes and whether or not they see you as a hero at all. Part of analyzing this maturely is taking a close look at and measuring the quality of a hero, and since we're talking about football, it's an important plus if someone's football hero is damn good at the game. Not that Adam in particular couldn't, but the very smallest kids can't tell a good play from a bad one, and Adam must have liked him at least in part because he liked what of his work he saw.

As a Christian and a football fan, I absolutely adore Tim Tebow! I am not a fan of any of the teams he played for, but I have so much respect for him because of how nice of a person he is and how faithful he is to God. This world could use a lot more people like him.

I'm a loud, and proud Tebow hater, on the field. But it's things like this (and many other stories I've heard) that make it impossible to hate him as a human being. He comes off as a genuine, and caring human being.
