Alice was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in her abdomen when she was only 18-months old. Intense treatment meant she spent lots of her early childhood going back and forth to the hospital for chemotherapy. Now aged eight, Alice must still take multiple medicines daily to rid her body of the chemicals emitted by her neuroblastoma.
Mum told us: “she loves the pretty lights and snow. Christmas for Alice means sparkly lights, family fun and getting the decorations up and of course presents!”. Not only this, but it’s time when Alice can be with her family. That’s why her wish ‘to go to Lapland’ was so urgently needed - she could relax and have fun in a wintry paradise away from hospital appointments and treatment. ❄️
This Christmas, too many children are waiting for their wish. It’s more urgent than ever to act now. Help us grant a child’s wish this Christmas by donating on the link below. Even a small amount really can make the difference to a child’s wish being granted. ⭐

“One huge thing was to have quality time with her without hospital appointments. Having time away from the medical stuff was amazing. To see Alice smile after everything we’ve gone through was priceless. Thank you so much for supporting Make-A-Wish!” - Jen, Alice’s mum.
