Today, I’ll show you how you can make an advanced card slider (full width) in your Elementor website. Here, on the right side there is a mini card carousel and when you change that carousel, everything is changing according to that: the background image, the content on the left side. On the very left you can see an indicator which are also perfectly working. The transitions are also so smooth, so when we go to forward we can see the forward animation and when we go to the previous slide we can also see the backward animation. This custom slider is also 100% responsive. It’s perfectly working on the tablet, mobile or any other devices.
If you want, you can get this advanced slider template from my template shop. Here also as a bonus, you'll also get the non-container version of that. But, if you don't want to get this advanced card carousel template, you can also start it from scratch.
First, we need to take a 2 column structure where on the left column we'll take the indicator and the texts. Here, we've take some heading, text and button widget and design that.
Then, on the right side take an testimonial carousel widget and transform that into a custom card carousel. Under that, also take 2 arrows by using the button widget and make them functional.
With the text on the left, we have also added the changing effect. For that, we need to duplicate those content multiple times. Finally, we have also added the background images for each slide which is changing with our carousel change.
Lastly, we make it responsive for the tablet and mobile devices. And on mobile, we place the dots at the very bottom of the section.

Thanks for the tutorial, it works. II saw in the comment section a lot of errors on the left &; right buttons, and this also happened to me. The solution is quite easy, just activate the arrow on the testimonial carousel and pagination to none. Hope that helps.

This is great, I did it step by step without complications I saw the video 3 times pra chekear that everything was correct, I realized something that you do not say and is for the letters to work the main container must have allied elements because if not the letters become crazy, if you said the truth I did not understand sorry, but I realized when you made the camera cut and went to this container, I did that and there was perfect. For change the order of containers, you can change the 'direction' of the primary container only for mobile. Edit container > Layout > Items > Diretcion - column reversed (the last arrow on top)

Applied code and settings, works perfectly. My goal is to use this for movies, more specifically movie posters. How can I adjust the width of the main large testimonial slide as well as the smaller slides? I see where I can edit heights but this still cuts off the side of the movie poster (2:3 aspect ratio). I need the images wider or a way to use contain instead of cover for the testimonial slides. Only solution I have found so far is to take the poster and pace it on a transparent background at the current aspect ratio 124:205 (248x410px), but it would be much easier to just edit the code. I have over 30 movie posters to work with.

This is really amazing but I'm running in to a couple of issues. I add the CSS and HTML into the container as well as the code but the slider still does not show in the build. From the edit page you can't see everything. Here you need to use the navigator panel for editing. But, on the actual page everything should be fine...

You can make the overflow hidden for that container. If then it still have that overflow problem, you don't have to worry too much about it as your actual live page is okay...

Followed the tutorial and couldnt get my own images to display. So I purchased the template. The pictures are displaying beautifully but the testimonial carousel and buttons don't function on the live site. Any chance we could troubleshoot possible reasons the template doesn't function on the live site? I deleted the cache memory but it didn't fix it.

Hello, thank you very much, the tutorial was excellent. I followed all the steps, but I have a problem. When I move the slider, the large background images in the main container do not follow the order of the images in the testimonial slider. How can I solve this?

Hey, thanks for the great tutorial! Any idea why sometimes on page refresh the text doesn't show and the buttons don't work - it's just stuck on the first image. This doesn't happen everytime I refresh the page which is strange. It seems to be sporadic.

Hey, I had the same problem until I messed a little bit around. By turning on the "Arrows" in the "additionel settings" within the testimonial carousel I got the buttons to work.

This slider is simply beautiful and fits so well on my website. At first I tried it myself up to a certain point and then I didn't know what to do. Hi, I'm doing everything I can to make this responsive because the height on a tablet or mobile device goes "flat". Unfortunately, I don't have flexbox containers and I can't turn it on. How can I alter the height/size and resolve this problem in the code? I tried changing the carousel's media's height in the CSS, but this did not work. I tried adjusting the height from settings. Not working. Thank you very much for any help!
