No complaints no negative comments. That's why you have these shows on tv & social media. I learned something out of this! I do it for 3 reasons: enjoying the skills of making woodworking.& furniture, hobbies & repairs. Making a living ? That's okay too. Expensive? What isn't. That's why all these TV shows have sponsors & supply the power tools the woodworkers operate on air! Very good job! 👷👋👋👋👋👋👋

@@makeit5272 I was thinking the same thing. I love watching creators grow their abilities and shops but seeing everything get CNC'd and 3D printed is disheartening for a limited tools guy like me.

Appreciate the acknowledgment throughout the video of the limits of your tools and what would have been better right down to the nail choices simply being what was lying around. It often feels like people just have perfect workshops and you come across as very real.

Wow that came out nice. If you ever find yourself mounting a power strip, here's a neat method. Make a photo copy of the back, then put the photo copy wherever you want to mount it and use an awl to mark the spots for the screws. It lets you be very precise. I've used this a couple times and it works great. Especially if the strip is vertical since you can make sure the paper is in just the right spot before marking the holes.
@CementRoots
@CementRoots 5 жыл бұрын
@rjtumble I've always wondered why there are no thru hole on powerstrips ... I've thrown caution to the wind a few times and drilled holes as close to the corners of the strip... i've been lucky so far.... ;)

This is what I've been looking for! I use my desktop for gaming and personal use, and on the weekends I use a work laptop and this hidden compartment is perfect for putting my laptop away for the rest of the day until I work again the next morning rather than having it laying around and having my toddler knocking it over or digging it in and out of a laptop bag.

This is such a cool desk. And the use of recycled pallet wood is a plus. I don't like the tressel (sawhorse) end, though. It (to me) looks out of place. I would have just extended the top all the way down the side (using pallet wood) in a straight line with maybe a notched out bottom. Great project, though! I'm definitely stealing this idea! lol

I didn't make a "how to" video on the dust collection box around my miter saw. However, there is a short video clip of it on my Instagram page on how the dust collection box works when removing it and putting it back on. The link to my Instagram page is in the description if you are interested in looking at that. I made it super easy to attach and detach using lever clamps I got at Harbor Freight.
