When you touched on healing I could not agree more!! To be able to focus means have little to no distractions and an open wound can so easily be an excuse to say "god I don't think I'm strong enough to obey what you're asking me to do." For me it has been so difficult to work through the healing process but I feel so much more peace after! Thank you for sharing this devotional!

I was just led here. I am in the final week of our Pastoral and Counseling Class and on way to focus on Jesus is to do a daily devotional everyday. And of course we need to have a prayer life. 🙏 Having a prayer life is how we do our spiritual warfare. He is where faith and strength comes from.

I made the decision this morning to step away from social media, prior to watching this video. I've tossed the idea the last few days and know that my soul is seeking the Lord and I am unable to obtain the Power and Peace through him being focused elsewhere. It really is so true that we are only as effective as we are focused. “those early morning hours are vital for spiritual health and for making progress in the spiritual battles we face every day. Satan knows it, and he wants to destroy our devotional life, and if he cannot get us to simply ignore the habit, he will distract our thoughts and break them into a thousand vanities”

It's been sooo so hard for me to keep in the Word lately and do devotionals, I finally sat down tonight and thought, a short devotional video should be something easy for me to get back into the swing of things...and this video popped up and I resonated with the title so much and after watching it, God totally led me to this video for a reason! The healing thing is huge for me right now, the focusing on the ONE thing we're doing at the moment. As a creative with a passion, I'm always sooo all over the place and it's so frustrating! This was super helpful though! He's still using this video almost 4 months later so thank you soo much!

Love this!! Such a timely word, thank you for sharing and for praying. I know I definitely need a break from social media. It’s so easy to get sucked in my FOMO on new things that are being exposed and feeling this weight of responsibility to relay or share the information with your circle of influence. But really that’s not trusting God. Sooo learning to let go and like you said focus in on what he wants me to care for and invest in and allow him to handle the rest. The body of Christ has many parts and I know all too often I find myself trying to be many if not all of them out of fear that we won’t see Gods plan come to pass. HA! As if he is solely relying on my efforts alone😅 God is good and so patient! Thank you for being a peaceful and gentle reminder to us. Love ya girl!
