To me, 50/50 is more than just money. There’s a lot that goes into a relationship. It includes being honest, respectful, caring, doing chores in and outside the house, parenting and so much more. One example is the wife being a neurosurgeon so she works a lot and brings in 700k+ a year and the husband then being a stay at home dad and taking care of the home. To me, that’s still 50/50 but the internet will throw a fit bc it’s the woman contributing financially. Everyone’s situation and definition of 50/50 will be different and it’s ok if it’s not the same as yours
