I agree. When you get great multiway cleaning tools that are practical, storable and adaptable it really makes a difference. I guess the same way in which a DIYer would get excited over their electric screwdriver and other tools etc. Love from across the pond (UK)

UPDATE: I used the Maker’s Mop for the first time today - first with your microfiber cloth on my kitchen and living room tile floors. “This won’t fit under the grandfather clock, I bet.” Wrong. It fit. “Well, it won’t fit under the loveseat.” Wrong. It fit. “Well it won’t fit under the shelving.” Wrong again. It fit! And switching to damp mop the kitchen floor - “it won’t get those sticky spots.” Wrong. It did. “Well it won’t let me scrub hard enough on that spot.” Wrong again. It did! And when hubs saw I had mopped the kitchen floor, he asked “is it dry?” cos it usually takes half an hour to dry! If you haven’t picked up one of these while they’re on sale - don’t be afraid to do it! I can’t wait to use it on my walls too! I was using your microfiber cloths with my Swiffer - I got my Maker’s Mop this past week and it’s going to be soooo much easier and nicer. Thanks for a(nother) great product!

Thanks so much for this (and all your) helpful video(s) Melissa! I’ve been watching your videos for a little while now, and today I ordered the mop and some various cleaning cloths, and am so excited to get started! I have an old mop from about 20 years ago, which I love because of the 60” handle, but the aluminum will be lighter than the wood, and it’s clear that you put a lot of research and development into your Maker’s Mop. I’m nearly 60, live on a grass fed beef farm, so lots of opportunities to mop 😁and I LOVE mopping, and the feeling of looking at the floors when I’m done. Thanks too, for all the info on how to take care of the MF Cloths, mop pads, etc. Can’t wait to use these! Thanks again!! ❤️

I've had my Maker's Mop for a couple of weeks now. What can I say except I LOVE it. No more bending down. Cleans my floors easily and they dry streak free because there is not so much water involved and you can turn the head and use the dry side to dry if you need to. I really appreciate that they are lightweight. And now after watching your video I know to to store my mop for efficiently. Great product!

I own my own cleaning business and I have order the makers large kit system just ordered my mop I’m so excited it will eliminate three tools I will have to carry from home to home bye high duster by dry mop dust mop tornado mop.. always high quality products and it’s reasonable for the price❤️ will update how the mop survives its 2 homes twice a day 6 days a week routine I’m sure it will make it well past a year 🙌 so excited 😆

Yayyyyyyyyyy! I watched you closely as to where you placed your right and left hand and tried to loosen my mop again and failed. So I gave it to my Husband to try it again and he succeeded! 😊 I must’ve tightened up too much when I used it last. I will be more careful next time! 😊

I’m a changed woman...I’m a fan and bought the mop out of curiosity and hopeful that this would change my cleaning routine. It lived up to the expectations. I usually hate mopping, streaks on my gorgeous wood floors, having to switch mop heads when in different rooms - not anymore. It was easy to use and having two mop heads was a game changer - I used one for the kitchen/bathroom and the other for living room, bedrooms. Thank you for this!

Love my Maker's Mop. Used for the first time today and used Melissa's diy floor cleaner. Fantastic! The mop slipped easily behind the toilet. I always have to go back and clean the floor behind the toilet, crouching down to get in there. Not today! Thank you Melissa for the mop, video tutorial and the diy floor cleaning recipe. 😊

I got mine a few days ago and attached a Makers microfiber dusting cloth to it and dusted the really high windows in my dining room. Today I wet mopped with it and it's a lot quicker than the other way I was doing it, which I rarely did because it took so much time. I did have difficulty getting up dried stuck on spots so I'll try pre soaking next time and use a different cleaner. I love that it's light, sleek, and the handle doesn't consistently fall when against the wall. I think I'll keep it in the kitchen to quickly clean as needed. It’s BRILLIANT! The fact that the head and handle lock are genius alone. It’s so easy to touch up baseboards and is so great for me in to use on shower walls, etc due to limited mobility. This will be a go to Christmas gift!

UPDATE: I just received the mop and this was the best money spent! Pls whoever is thinking twice because of price please don’t. This is a one time purchase and you will reap the benefit every single day of your life. My top reasons why I love this mop: 1. It does not fall! Remember that loud bang that makes you jump whenever you kid accidentally topples your mop or broom? Well it doesn’t happen with this one. I can even keep in a slant on the wall and it still stays put 2. The handle is so smooth on my hands while mopping the floor in different directions and under sofa etc I love it. I don’t have to keep readjusting my grip on it. 3. Handle size adjustable so I’m thinking even my kids can use it, I already know my toddler loves it. 4. And many more... so just buy it. Make room in your budget for it just this month. Maybe don’t eat out couple of times and buy this mop. 😂 All in all I everyone stay safe and enjoy! 😚

I do love this mop! It has so many uses around my house. I had only one thing I had trouble with was opening and closing the mop for the length of height. Now it is stuck in the short position for when I used it to clean my shower. Now I cannot open it. I have tried everything.

I got this today .didn’t love it like I had hoped . It took a lot of scrubbing to get off week old crusted on food from all over my laminate floor . The classic type of mop ,with all the strings , gets that crap off with a lot less effort than this did . Also , rinsing out the pads over and over was a pain in the ass , had to wear rubber gloves just to clean the floor . I wanted to love the makers mop 🙁 plus side , I got some blue waffle weave kitchen towels with the order , which are amazing !

Well I got mine last week and my experience is pretty much the opposite of yours.....I have hardwood floor in my entire home and Maker's mop is much more efficient than the "classic type of mop". I guess the floor type matters? And my down side was actually the general purpose microfiber cloth I ordered along with the mop. They perform the same with the microfiber cloth I bought from Big Lots, I believe the original price for my Big Lots ones is $8 for four-piece set (I paid $4 because they were on clearance sale) . And Maker's price is $19 for two-piece set. They are the same size! I like the mop a lot but I don't understand why people are so excited about Maker's microfiber cloth.....

The same here. I have wood floors and it left streaks. Also the rinsing out the the pads was a pain. Maybe I will give it another chance.

@@dianasanchez117 I have hardwood floor too but mine didn't leave streaks! Maybe you need squeeze the mop pad harder so it wouldn't be too wet?? But I agree if you don't like to rinse and squeeze, you are not gonna like this mop.

I L💗VE mine! I was walking around yesterday l👀king for other things to clean. 😆🤣😂 I wish there were different color pads, I prefer to color code for kitchens and bathrooms. For now, I’ll use my microfiber towels when needed. This one will not end up in the graveyard of floor cleaning tools that lives in my closet. 😆

Just like when I work with Power tools, if I don't have proper tool for task it's harder to do job. Same with my cleaning equipment. I made one of these mops...the mop head is longer and a bit wider for quicker radius floor cleaning. Also made reusable mopheads, I made my mop 15 years ago. This mop is great for those that don't have capability to make one.

You mentioned no fabric softener when washing the mop pads. I sometimes wash my clothes with the Downy scent beads, is that okay to use when washing the pads? Thanks.

I checked out the reviews and noticed many people complaining about the mop head not working properly (not locking in place, etc...). I also noticed the customer support team did not address these peoples' issues or respond to their concerns (publicly). I'm afraid that if I purchase and experience similar problems, I will also be disregarded. Of course, I noticed the 30 day money back guarantee, but I would be responsible for covering shipping costs...no thanks!! It's unfortunate because I really like the concept of the U-shape but the quality that is received seems rather hit or miss. I would hate to be the one with a $60 miss!
