This is groovy soca. Hear that harmonizing, and that high pitch from Tambu, and that guitar solo. I remember singing this as a teen that year, to improve my vocals. We had a school contest.

Tambu was one of the greatest performers in the soca music business. One of the sweetest voice too!

Tambu made it worthwhile with his time with Charlies Roots. He did some good hits in the late 80's. Pelham Goddard was the right arranger for Tambu.
