when someone dies at some point u 'move on' it doesn't mean u don't love them but ur just not IN LOVE with them it's also just sad if someone is hung up on someone for the rest of their life that's sad and we shouldn't want that for her it's good for her to have moved on and started dating she still cares about her kids and her work but love is an important part of life and she deserves to have love again it won't be the same epic love she and Derek had because each love is different but it'll still be love

This just breaks me apart. Ever since Derek died, I never found happiness in Greys anymore. I still watch G.A, but I stoped in season 11. Watched a little of season 12 but I couldn't continue because I just don't see happiness in G.A. Everything is like fading away and now season 14 is coming and I just don't see what to expect. Derek was everything for Mer. Mer can move on but I just don't like seeing someone else who isn't Derek with her. She was so happy with Derek. And no it's not the same kind of happiness when she's with Nathan, it's completely different. So different. Know the difference in someone who marries you in a post-it, adopts a baby without thinking and make a beautiful family!! They both had a fucked up past. And they were epic. But with Nathan... it's like a typical old love. Nothing extraordinary in it. Extraordinary was MerDer's story.
