That's quite an involved transformation for the gun. I like it! Pointblank was always one of my favourites of the -masters, this is a great version!

The gun transformation is basically the standard Maketoys headmaster transformation, but with a few extra tweaks. It's a "same but different" instance.

The baseline head is how Pointblank looked in the Japanese Headmasters cartoon, the helmet with crest was from the final episodes of G1, the re-birth mini-series in the 'States. There were a lot of differences in the head designs between the two shows.

I had the G1 version. one of my favorites. very G1 accurate too. you need to get the G1 so you can do a "PRECIOUUUUUUUSS, he's so G1 PRECIOUUUUUUUUSS!"

My older brother bought the original G1 version for me as a kid. It was my first transformer that I actually owned....instead of all of the hand me downs I got from him, lol. The fact that they have finally done a Masterpiece version of him has me super hyped! I can't wait to order this.

I want this one! I got Pointblank for my birthday back in the 80's, and since we were poor he was really the only post 85 toy I owned. Never had any of the 86 movie, and his was the only headmaster/targetmaster I had. And of course, the cartoon was cancelled right after introducing them. In the U.S., anyway.

Well the first helmet and visorless face is the look that Pointblank had in the Transformers Headmasters series inat was either Asia exclusive or Japan exclusive , and the helmet with the fin and visor face was the look that he had in the G1 Cartoon in the short-lived season 5

It's crazy that he had one of the coolest transformations in the season 4 intro but barely any lines on the actual show. He does have a great design too. I always assumed had season 4 been longer he would have gotten more attention. Anyway, the figure looks awesome. I just wish MT made the headmasters and him a little bit smaller so they scaled better. He's almost perfect but if scale isn't an issue, he'll look great on anyone's shelf!

I just realized where I saw Point Blank during the G1 series if you watch the opening credits two Transformers during the G1 Headmasters Saga he is one of the Target Masters in the opening credit the only difference is he is all red there's no blue accents and he also has a face mask it's not a very long thing it's just real quick in and out you seem transform and you see his Targetmaster jump out of his hand and then they start chasing a Decepticon..... I think he's in the opening credits of G1 season 4
