That’s unsanitary. It has nothing to do with this makeup artist’s race. Get over it. 2) “The eyeshadow is the same color as her skin tone”- How is that racist as well? What I meant by that was how the eyeshadow wasn’t a good choice to use if you could barely see the color. There’s nothing racist about this video.

Any reputable makeup artist on a show of that platform knows to say, "absolutely not" to shitty products, and if they absolutely HAVE to do the product, they're prompted by their boss to use a model who's far less known, so it doesn't reflect an obvious rising star, even for something as shallow as looks alone. I do agree with this video but one thing I don’t exactly like about the finished look is just how uneven the makeup was. As the video said, the eyeshadow matched her skin tone a bit to well so it was very subtle but then you got the pink lipstick which is a stark contrast; not to mention it looks a bit trashy with the way it was done.

Honestly, I never liked their makeup on the XFactor, cause in my personal opinion it didn't really suit the girls... I guess that the makeup artist did this makeup on girls to fit the concept of the performances, but from my personal knowledge, this bright pink lip colour and dark makeup on the eyes doesn't suit some people. It always depends on the skin tone, so the lip colour would be matchable and wouldn't look out of place, and also on your eye shape, cause when you have big eyes, for example, they look better with less makeup, cause the attention is already on them, etc. I remember the video from XFactor Jessy couldn't watch on her documentary, she had nude lips and again dark eye makeup (and still looked pretty, but Jessy unfortunately didn't feel this way back then), and I feel like that look they gave her didn't show the best features of her face. She has beautiful unique eye shape, they drown it in eye shadows and liner, she had thin lips, they didn't try to give them the accent of colour to make them stand out more. In conclusion, such makeup doesn't take into account girls' personal features, and it is the same case with all the girls...
