Idk why, but I absolutely LOVE brush collection/declutter videos. I was so stoked to see this on my feed this morning!! ...maybe I like them so much cuz it makes me feel better about the size my own collection lol! Turning forty and literally just started wearing makeup lol I’ve been enjoying finding the best products to try and just got to a place where I’m hunting specific brushes. I started out with a set of EcoTools brushes but have gaps that I need to fill. I see that Sigma has a great many that you like, but if you were to advise me of of a single brush must-have for each task(even if you don’t own it), which ones would they be. I’m emphasizing a need for soft angled crease brushes for my hooded, mature eyes. Please help! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and expertise!!!

This is a great video! I appreciate you sharing your reasoning for keeping duplicates, parting ways with certain brushes (no use for, loses shape or texture change after washing several times, etc.) This is very helpful to me as I go through my brushes and decide what to keep, what I need (or think I need), and what brands seem to really stand up to a lot of use and maintain integrity. Some of the brushes, such as the bigger multi-faceted top brushes and a few others I was unsure of whether or not I needed them. I have a brush that looks like your cut crease brush and I don't know where it came from (e.g. a set or something), and I just had an "I feel so silly, is that what that brush is for? That is not how I have bee using it" moment. Often you will not really find a lot of information in-store or you already have a brush you like better for the stated purpose of a brush. I am not a beginner, but let's face it (no pun intended), there are more brushes out there than most people truly need even if you are doing full glam. I am not one to buy a brush that I may use once in a while, if it comes in a kit okay, great, I can pass it on if I don't use it. I have two of the little red Sephora Rouge brushes, I am glad I actually like them since they were very expensive brushes 🤣. xx Lynn
