I am so happy you did this review! I’ve been eyeballing this palette and wanted to hear what people thought about it. One of the main reasons I think I want this palette is because of the cooler tones along with basics. And honestly, that navy blue! I struggle to find a navy blue that doesn’t fall out. 😢 Your look is stunning!! ❤ Please do more looks.

When I used this palette for the first time, I put one of the mattes underneath the shimmer. I have the first palette and I also felt the shimmers miss a color base. I have enjoyed both palettes more once I started doing that.

For some reason, if this palette had a sparkly pink and a gold it would look so much like the UD x Gwen Stefani palette from way back… when I saw the thumbnail of this video I was shocked. I loved that palette so much, and I didn’t think I would. Need to grab it again. This Mario one, however, I don’t have access to, but hope it’s a hit for everyone who purchases it. It looks so nice.

I love this Palette so much, the mattes are everything that was missing from ND Xenon, I like to mix them up by adding a bit of Xenon shimmers like superionic, snowbow or skift to the looks and they come out amazing. Of course Mario shimmers are lovely as well, but this way at least I get more use out of Xenon.

If you watch Mario’s video on this palette, this version is how he thinks moonlight should look like with his shimmers. Toppers are meant to be used underneath a matte shadow so it will have a base and be very “ethereal” look. The same was true with the 1st Ethereal Palette. I personally prefer topper shades because they are easier to wear on mature eyelids like mine. The older I get, the less I like blinging shimmer shadows with huge glitters. I can wear these ethereal shades easier. They remind me of the wet effect shadows from ND which I think she used Mario’s palette as inspiration for INAN.

Might be a stupid question but when I try to put shadow on my outer corner it looks crooked. The whole area looks crooked it’s most noticeable on the lid. Would tilting my head more really make a difference? Or should I try something different?

looks great on you.... I'm just not a fan. I have a ton of shimmers in different palettes that I can get the same look from so to me there is nothing new. I tried one and the fall out was crazy and I dislike fall out as I tend to put make up on after I'm dressed and there are plenty of other palettes that don't have that fall out. It reminds me of something someone said years back that "they make a new palette and throw one blue shade in" but it's basically a nude shimmer palette with a blue thrown it. Whoever said that was right even though I didn't think so. I get some ppl love Mario and Mario palettes are very "in" but there's nothing that makes me want to get it. I gave it a chance as I always learn from you so wanted to see what you did with it. Beautiful but if I didn't know it was Mario it could have been ND or Huda or name a brand. Compact, cute, maybe good for travel but no... not interested. Thanks tho I do love shimmer and I have all these shades so not buying it. Thanks.
