In today's video I declutter my primers and foundations. I intend to do this every 6 months so that I can declutter what I no longer use and focus on what I do use, and it helps me to rediscover old favorites I once forgot about. I don't personally enjoy a huge declutter because, me personally, my collection is HUGE because the thought of getting rid of even one thing makes me so sad. I loved it at one point so I feel like it must stay. So I barely declutter and only stuff I did not like at all, and those things go to my teenage daughters. They are 15,15,16,20 and they have bigger and better makeup collections than most adults I know simply because I have given it all to them lol I just don't know how to depart with much. I know I really should, it just makes me sad because makeup is everything to me, it's not only my hobby but it's my art, my joy, and it is how I deal with my mental health issues, creating in the mirror every morning calms me and prepares my mind for a new day. So anyhow, that's why I can't stand the thought of giving up much 😔

I have really oily skin as well so I’m going to give the Revlon Color Stay foundation a try. I’ve worn powder foundation for years. YEARS! It works well with the ELF matte putty primer.. that stuff is like pore-filling spackle for my pores.😀

Foundations are hard to get rid of because that is the base for the make up. If the foundation looks terrible then the rest of the make up won't look very good. I completely agree with not getting rid of any foundation that work. I am still looking for that perfect or at least semi perfect foundation. So it's buying and returning over and over again.

Where’d you buy the acrylic organizer for your foundations I need that! I love your declutters. Makeup Revolution has a beautiful cream bronzer you’d probably love as everyone else does too!❤

At target!! It’s technically a spice rack but you can use it for whatever you want!

I love to watch declutter videos. I do declutter my collection, but not as hard core as I used to because I always regret decluttering something. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Glowish is a silicone free primer which is why I dislike it. 😊

I also wanted to ask if you were still going to do a dull face of Revolution products? I'm pretty sure it was that brand that you had mentioned a while back. Revolution can definitely be hit or miss in their products but there are some that I really like and enjoy.

You did a good job, considering this is a category that is really important to your skin type. You need to find products that work well for your skin. It makes complete sense. If it works, then why would you get rid of it right? LOL.

Huda Beauty glowish primer is not silicone based. It is silicone free. Just wanted you to be aware. It is one of my holy grails. I don’t wear silicone.

Two of my favorites… declutters and Allie!!!!! Ya know, it may not have been the most massive declutter but you kept what you love and got rid of what you don’t. It kills me to watch people so torn going I love this but do I need it. I’m always yelling at the screen “KEEP IT”! So I think you did a fantastic job! 🫶🏻
