I sound out of breath in the video... because I am out of breath lol. I absolutely love your channel and your collection and your unapologetic love for makeup! I think people sometimes get riled up about large collections and forget that plenty of other people collect other things that are much more expensive, take up much more space, and are far less functional (or beautiful!) compared to makeup and no one really bats an eye. Part of it is because makeup has always been seen as more “frivolous” or “feminine” and as a society we’ve internalized this silly idea that makeup as a hobby is somehow bad. Personally I think everyone is free to spend their own hard earned money on whatever they choose if it makes them happy and they remain in a emotionally and financially healthy place!

I think a lot of declutter videos are done by people that have received a lot of products from different companies and brands "for their consideration" or general PR. When you actually purchase and item it creates an attachment or a memory. I struggle to declutter a lot of things because I'm so sentimental 😅

Tara, i’m sure the odds of you reading this are slim due, especially considering the age of the video, but i’m back to rewatch and I felt compelled to share how much I appreciate you and the content you provide. The collection videos truly represent and exemplify my admiration and overall reverence of this channel and the creator and your overall passion for all things makeup and beauty. Sure, you can find mua, beauty gurus, and makeup lovers galore on the platform, but not a single one of them represents the same genuine passion nor do they garner the same amount of respect that I have for Tara’s word. Often I’ve found other channels and creators that initially come across with honest reviews and relatability, but as soon as they obtain any form of relevancy and numbers they quickly transform into repetitive phony scammers who loose any resemblance of authenticity or trust. Tara, despite even obtaining traction with viewers and PR remains just as trustworthy and authentic as the day she started. Tara has validated my love of makeup and is the only creator that doesn’t put on superiority, and is unapologetic about her collection and love of collecting, despite the efforts of the creators that are now mostly paid marketing promoters, and the judgment of the community that assert rules to makeup and the amount someone should have, Tara remains loyal. I have validation for my love of makeup and collecting. Lastly, random, but I would love to know if Tara struggles with throwing away certain packaging like I do, and how often she organizes and cleans her collection. Also, if she loves to just swatch things, as it’s one of my fav things!!

I read in an article a few years ago that Tara had the largest make up collection in North America...Asia is a wild make up for cosmetics and some very wealthy women so I suspect there would be a few who had similar size collection but in this article she was named as the top largest, others were named like tati and Lisa Eldredge and a couple of other MUA.

I’d love to see a closer look 👀 at everything that falls into the vintage categories please. Also so interesting how certain formulations of cream products that are quite old are still good so I’d imagine most of the powder products would still be usable. I’m especially interested in the vintage and LE MAC face product drawer and vintage eyeshadow palettes. I also enjoyed seeing your blush drawers!! Hello my Saturday night date! You should do a favorite of your top 5 items as lipstick/gloss eyeshadows/pallets foundations blush I think u get my drift. Also your opinion on what brushes you think we should have. There is a ton of brushes when we go to shop. Instead of picking 10 eye brushes and a lot of money. And how to use them. I know maybe a to long video but it can start for us beginners👍🏼. And who cares how much makeup you have! If it wasn’t for u I wouldn’t know where to begin❤️. I would love for you to go in depth and make a separate video for each different product section. And if you could swatch them, or at least some, that would be amazing!! Lol or another video I'd like to see from you would maybe be like your top 10 or 20 products from each category (blush, bronzer, highlight, etc.) Also, doing a like top 5, bottom 5 video from different brands would be neat too! You've just tried so many products, I'd love to hear your opinion :)

Tara, I've watched you for years and you're one of my favorite KZbinrs. You're very authentic and genuine, and your knowledge of makeup products is admirable. I wish you would do a greater variety of videos like you used to! You're mostly doing hauls lately. I love the hauls, but I don't know if it's a sustainable model since a lot of people are moving towards reducing waste and minimalist living. For the sake of your channel's growth, I recommend that you branch out into a greater variety of content. It's not easy being a KZbinr and having to create content on a regular basis, but I do hope you continue to do so while finding joy in it, and remember that you have many loyal viewers.
