I dunno if u ever watch thrift thick but she did a declutter by type of lip product n color family and that’s how she was able to narrow it down! I feel like it’s hard to declutter because there’s a sentimental attachment as weird as it sounds, but after I kinda copied what she did I was able to get my collection down a lot and I was surprised to see which brands came out top of the top !! loved the vid!

I just bought 2 acrylic lipstick holders that hold 40 each. I have 12 empty spots, so now I don’t feel so alone! Thank you! I’m still searching for the perfect nude lipstick. Nudes tend to look orange on my lips and I don’t like that for me. I took notes on all of your cool toned ones. Blue is opposite of orange, so now I’m only looking for cool nudes. Please try Lorac lipsticks. I love them and the regular cream lipstick lasts forever.

I decluttered lipsticks Friday. Anything I had not worn in a year was tossed. I also tossed some liquid lipsticks I bought in a set from Sephora. I love my Becca glosses, but I think I am over liquid lipsticks.

I found myself hoping you still liked my “favorites” and I know I’ll be referring back here for future buys. I take into account the scent, or taste of lip product so it would be good to know which of these have a scent or taste. For example, I can no longer do anything minty as it just irritates me and I dislike that feeling on my lips. So that eliminates a lot of nice lipsticks!

Now I'm feeling deprived - I only have 6 lipsticks and one gloss!!! Even then, the only brand that doesn't completely dry out my lips is the Neutrogena Moisturzing Color stick - they don't last, but they don't do any damage either! I think I'm on my 12th or 13th Perfect Plum and 3rd Rich Raisin! Love the Two Faced lipsticks in Pink Chocolate and Honey Bear (both discontinued) but they wreck my lips (but I still wear them - go figure!). Got a great Smashbox one in a Boxycharm, Black Cherry which looked scary, but is really pretty and quite sheer. I have one red - Marc Jacobs - Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, and a Neutrogena pink lip gloss! Even those wonderful L'Oreal Color Riche dry lips! I exfoliate, I use balm - guess I just have old lady lips!!

Have you looked at switching to natural toothpaste and making sure you're drinking a lot of water during the day? I find my lips always get dry when I don't drink the right amount of water. Also, look into what type of balm...some can actually be drying!! :)

It was an interesting video I watched the whole thing. I learned a lot. I don’t like liquid lippies either very well at all. I just went thru all of mine and got rid of several because of the smell mostly and o know they r older. I like glosses so much better. I would love try the Becca since u like those sobmuch. But if Colourpop is close I can afford that one. I’m not sure what brand u were talking about at the very end with ladies names and sugar u said no way h were getting rid of. 🙋🏻‍♀️ I have a question. And perhaps a video idea. What does it mean when beauty influencers say they love the “formula”. What does “formula mean? That it’s soft? That it lasts longer? That it’s moisturizing! Also, how do you decide what lipstick to use with what? Besides matching your outfit. I mean you may have a pink gloss, lip stain, matte, cream and lipstick. Which do you choose and why?

It can mean any number of those things that we talk about when we elaborate on during our review. It's going to be different for everyone. It usually means the texture, wear, how the product feels when applied b/c of the texture, consistency, etc. Thanks for the 2nd set of questions. That's a good idea to throw in a video! 😘

Hi Lynn! I did clean out my purses first. But since I'm human, I must have left one or two in them which is what I realized as I was filming. The purpose of a declutter is to clear space and get more organized. My lipstick drawer...for what I do here on KZbin...is just fine for me. I'm sure it's too much for the average person and that's just fine. The title of this was a nude/neutral declutter. I'm sorry if you missed that and also where I said I'd do the color ones in a later video. So while this might not meet your declutter standards, as a content creator who has more lipsticks than the average person, it's just fine for me. Thanks for watching!

So having so many neutrals plus the colors was funny to me. Would still take a lot of days to get thru them all. Sorry you took offense.
