I love that you don't hesitate to discard! It always feels so good to purge when we dont use products! I recently gave my sister in law 7 mac pallets worth of mac eye shadows! I mean seriously when am i going to wear bright green eye shadow other than like halloween! Ha ha

Do you ever consider expiration dates when deciding to keep old makeup? I got one really bad conjunctivitis related to expired eye shadow make up; now once my shadows hit a 2 year mark, love them or not, I toss them.

I remember so many of these shadows and when you spoke about them! I bought Unflappable because of you :) but I only wear it with my taupe-y shades so it would make sense if you got rid of it. I do the same thing, I kept my Manish Arora Pink Swoon only cause the packaging is so pretty! Looking forward to seeing more purges and would love to see which MAC shadows you kept!

Love the video! Can't wait to see more decluttering. The Bare Minerals nude beach is the only loose eyeshadow I've ever finished up and repurchased. It's too good! For some reason I don't think the Chanel eyeshadows are that great. I have a few of their quads and I feel like I have to sweep my brush in it 100 times to get any pigment at all. It's annoying because I love the colors.

OMG i wish i could do just what you did here. To me it's really hard to get rid of things just like that! obviously lipsticks, lipglosses, and mascaras are an easy decision, but eyeshadows, clothes, shoes and jewelry not the same thing for me, but so proud of you!!!!!

Instead of doing a blog sale, you can sell your discards to Glambot. I've done it twice. The first time I got like $320 and the second time I got $85 (I had a lot less the second time). It's super easy and you only have to worry about shipping once (which is actually free) instead of a bunch of times for different people.
