You're the best of the best. I am a 62 year old woman who has been following you for the last year and I've learned quite a bit. The other day in a family Zoom call every female family member wanted to know what I was doing to my skin. It felt great and it felt great to help them with what you'd taught me. Thank you.

I love the aesthetic of how you film your videos. It reminds me of the 90’s-like a glamorous photoshoot with a slight haziness. It’s captivating. The edited in sparkles give it that extra touch-it’s just so gorgeous. I appreciate everyone else with their crisp, HD vids, but this just draws me in and I watched the whole thing. It’s like a dream or something

@@ItsJazmineCymone I would love to know this too I find it so dreamy! Looking at the reflection in the models eyes I would say at least 4-5 light sources for this set up. 2 in front one above the other and then 1 each side and possibly a back light but given there's shadows not 100%. Plus possibly lense filters star/dream/black pro mist that sort of thing

Thank you for this!!! I have THE dryest skin, like you said to the point dry skin will flake off at times... I can only exfoliate so much before I feel like I'm doing damage.. But I truly feel like I've learned new techniques. I typically only use a little bit of concealer but there are times I'd like to do more. Thank you Spencer! It's the way you apply it that matters. 🙂

I love that you took special care to point out your technique (patting.) I feel like so many tutorials put an emphasis on the products and don't really teach how to use them in a truly effective way. So we all go out and buy everything they tell us to buy, but it's useless because no one has really taught us what to do with them. I really enjoy your videos and especially appreciate that you try to address EVERY skin type, tone, age, and challenge! Thank you for showing us that a great makeup look is attainable for everyone! Much love! 🥰🌹💄

You was mentioning about the Brushes lefting the "Dead Skin Cells", this is why I Exfoliate 2- 3 times a week. To prevent that from happening, and I have Combination Skin/Oily t- zone. Great tip, thanks
@m0rbidm0mma2 жыл бұрын
A dry skinned person may not be able to exfoliate 2 or 3 times a week. You can overdo it. Often when someone is oily, the more they exfoliate, they remove all natural oil from the skin, causing the skin to produce more oil, that's our body's natural response. Your skin looks great! Your body is trained and is obviously happy with your routine. Like I said, you look great.
@PAINTEDBYSPENCER2 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely! Exfoliating is important... I often use chemical exfoliators for me skin, but can be a little "aggressive" when I pair it with a physical exfoliator. So, I just have to be mindful of the current condition of my skin when applying products ❤

You have the best tutorial videos! Extra thanks for this one! I was just complaining today that my skin has gotten stupid over the years ("mature skin" now) and I went from oily in the t-zone to dry! To the point where I dermaplane and get so much dead skin coming off but it's still not seemingly enough. Of course foundation, especially on my nose looks heavy and textured though I use very little. I'm going to try your techniques here to reduce that dry look! Oh, and the look you gave Laken is stunning! You are so talented!! Thank you so much for posting these wonderful tutorials. :-)
