A friend gave me an Hermes lipstick for my birthday. The packaging was over the top! There was an outer box, an inner box, tissue paper, a little cloth pouch, the whole nine yards. The lipstick case component feels expensive because it is heavy and magnetic, but the lipstick itself is meh. Sheer pigment and odd perfumey smell. I never reach for it. I reach for my Milani lippies 100 times more!
