that was very honest of you to admit to jealousy pangs. its easy to feel that way but it can also be helpful. i think it means time to look at what you maybe should change in your own life. i often think of Maria's bravery in the face of really radical change: a new country, a new language, a new single life [for a while anyway], etc etc. She's a great example of "what you can do".

Im 17 yrs old and unfortunately ive already chose the wrong path to go down when i started smoking. I wasnt very popular in school, and i thought that if i started doing drugs like the other kids i would fit in. I finally figured out why I *love* your channel so much (and a couple others). Some artists have great sounds, technically, but your sense of poise is such a huge draw for me because it's actually that you project having amazing BOUNDARIES. Like, I never get the low key feeling you might do something unsafe suddenly. I'd ask you to hold my baby. I'd let you watch my cat. I'd lend you my car. Everything is perfect in this video: your look, your dress, your ring (purple), the necklace, the weather, the location, the sound. It will put everyone who sees it in a sunny mood, I think. Maybe I wll try that pencil tip too. My eyebrows are lighter than yours (yes, they are invisible, to my regret....) and I find it so difficult to darken them in a way that doesn't look fake. Yours look absolutely perfect here!

You need a spiritual break. Light a candle in the dark and just gaze at it for a few minutes. Breathe deeply. Let your fears come and go, and you'll fall into peace after a while. Go outside to a park and connect with whatever part of nature you feel most drawn to. Water, earth, wind, fire (sun). Notice they all make up a spirit. Know you're so loved and you're beautiful on the inside and out. You have what it takes.

Maria I’ve been watching you for years, now. First off, let me say I love your videos. My name is Maria, also. I’m a 37 year old graveyard shift worker and I can’t tell you how many times you’ve helped me get to sleep, or just comforted me in times of stress with your beautiful videos. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this growing art form. I enjoy your makeup tutorials, but may I suggest doing a tutorial on a more ethnic model? Perhaps Latino or black? I am mixed, myself (black and Hispanic) and I’ve always done the basic makeup job on myself cause I’m NO expert lol. But I would love to see tutorial where you apply makeup to someone else who would use warmer colors. For example, I have a natural shadow in around my eyes (no sparing for the late night job) and I’ve always wanted to know how to do a Smokey eye but I have no idea where to start. Anyway... This morning my 7 month old daughter, Luna, and I watched your video while having breakfast. I'm usually strict about staying off screens during meals, but it has been a particularly rough few days and I really wanted to start our day with something peaceful and uplifting. Luna was absolutely mesmerized by this video! She loved it and was smiling at you! She found the blush application particularly enjoyable :) and really was intrigued by the tapping haha. Not really, because there are so many different kinds of professional pencils. Charcoal, acrylic, graphite, regular colored pencil style, etc.

Maria you are such a role model to me. I know you may never see this but I just wanted to put it out there.💓 I discovered the ASMR community sometime last year through your channel. I was scrolling through relaxing sounds videos (like ambient background noise/nature sounds) and one of your videos came up. I clicked and right away, and when I heard your voice, I felt a sense of calm and security that was so unique. Since then I have been a faithful subscriber to your channel, and have branched out to subscribing to other ASMRtists. While I don't experience ASMR, I find the videos to be extremely soothing and calming when I just need something to help me deal with my anxiety or stress.
