Never worry about what someone will do for another. Only concern yourself with what they will and won’t do for you. And be honest with yourself about the truth being displayed & demonstrated by those in your life. Don’t feel bad if someone seems to improve for another. If they aren’t improving for you, you don’t need them. And Bri is so right, people are who they are. If they become ready for something similar to what you desire after your time with them has passed, don’t worry about it. It’s less painful & emotionally expensive to avoid the trauma & drama of years with them that broke your spirit because you weren’t on the same page FOR YEARS. My mom told us, never invest love where someone else is only tolerating you (or worse…using you). And never love anyone else more than you love yourself. She said love involved “action” & really tried to impress upon us the need to “act” in our own best interest. She said that if we did that (made decisions that revealed that we loved ourselves), it would hurt less than being walked on by someone who didn’t deserve our loyalty - even if deciding to move on was painful. It’s funny how we can get used to anything - even poor treatment and indifference 😢 One of the best gifts we can give a child is the ability & understanding of HOW TO BREAK UP. Bri’s so right. This is a tough lesson to learn. I recommend becoming a tough cookie before engaging the dating world. And by tough, I mean…tough on self…as in holding oneself accountable for one’s own happiness, future, and life fulfillment. Make decisions that your 60 year old self would be proud of. And then, learn what love is & what it looks like. Then be loving & only have loving people around you. Deciding to stay committed to the wrong lover or mate can do so much damage to one’s esteem, feelings of worth, and efficient use of your 20s & 30s (and dare I say 40s). After 35 a pregnancy is considered a geriatric pregnancy. A loss of 10 years in a woman’s life due to poor mate selection is no small thing - esp if she desires marriage & children. But even if she doesn’t, time is a precious commodity. It shouldn’t be trivialized. Live and make decisions as though you know your body won’t live forever. Honor everything about you: your mind, soul, body, future. Avoid the type of people & decisions that could make you bitter, resentful, cynical, and unpleasant. Your light deserves to be seen and appreciated, and that can’t happen if we allow anyone to caste a cloud over our shine. Be well. Be happy. Surround yourself by good people - men & women. Love will come.

That message to hurry up before 35 is dangerous. Most women has rushed themselves into getting married and having babies because of the fear of that ‘clock’ and still end up choosing ‘wrong’. They Married young just to now be back on the market again by 30 with babies in tow. Not everyone is going to be a wife and most sane women aren’t willing to be a baby mother just to beat that ‘clock’. I understand your overall message but things happen on Gods timing. 35 May be geriatric but some women have babies earlier, some have them later etc etc. it’s all in Gods timing. Women in general just need to be okay with being alone if it doesn’t Pan out the way that they want it to because feeling pressure by that ‘clock’ is what gets them in the mess in the first place. That’s why I’m glad that this self love thing is becoming a thing with us now. Not everything has to be about some man and securing one. Self love is key. Everything else will fall as they may.

Thank YOU for saying it like it is. It is definitely NOT easy to date these days, to actually meet someone decent that you can trust. So many people saying like it’s so easy to do, but it’s not easy at all. I was in a relationship for almost two years with the love of my life, so I thought. He didn’t cheat on me but he wasn’t as emotional available as I thought he was, as he thought at the beginning as well. He isn’t ready for a long term commitment although he kept saying he was. I think he wanted to be, but he just didn’t know that he isn’t ready. I love him so much. We didn’t broke up forever. But he is figuring stuff out. We need to talk although I’m afraid he could never meet my needs the way I want him to. But he had a heart of gold- would never cheat on me or call me names or be aggressive. Never. To love like this is hard. Love your videos❤❤
