The most important thing is that you take care of your skin. You need to moisturize , treat wrinkles, prevent wrinkles, to ensure plump skin then the makeup will look beautiful. If you have a poor canvas then no makeup can look good. I use powder blush and setting powder on my 54 yr old skin with no problem. It's all about the beauty and health of the skin. You must exfoliate, use vitamin c serum, retinol, hyaluronic acid, cream with ceramides, peptides. Most important use spf each day.

I am 64 and i have fair skin. My daily routine is niacidimide, moisturizer and spf50. Evenings, i apply organic rosehip and moisturizer on my face and coconut oil to my neck. I am told that i look very young, i do not wear face make up, but i do touch up my eyebrows, lipstick and i wear spf 50 when i step outside.

I’ve tried cream blush (cheap and expensive) on my 70 year old skin and within a couple of hours it has absorbed into my skin. And, yes, I use a good moisturizer and primer before applying makeup. But I like all the tips.

Same for me. I’ve always used powder blush and in recent years I use a make-up setting spray over the top (when the weather’s hot). I’m nearly 70 and people usually take me for early 40’s so I must be doing something right…..

The way she applied the blush is not good (smile and put on apple of cheeks) because when you stop smiling it’s going to drag your face down. To give a lifting effect it should be applied on the cheek bones higher up

The problem I have with cream products is that they don’t last five minutes on me. And setting them with powder kind of defeats the object!

Same here. It just disappears whereas powder blush lasts all day. Maybe I'm lucky, at 71 I don't have lines where blush should be placed.

I’m 63 olive skin people think I’m in my 40s I use moisturiser with spf 50 and stay out of the sun. I only wear lipstick when I go out . Guess I’m lucky 😂
