O and my theory on matchmaster foundation is that since it is formulated to match skin and recognize blemishes, dark spots or otherwise pigments..it will act the same when applying contours,blushes, etc. It will try to "correct" it. That being said, I think matchmaster is for a no make up makeup look only. Meaning..no blush other than warm colors.
