Something that was awful hearing was in the interview with the girlfriend. She's completely assured that Chandler is innocent and he would never do anything to hurt his parents, and wasn't even thinking about that when she went to the police. She was genuinely concerned for his parents, and even remarked little anecdotes about how she and his family would play Mario Kart, and his mom would try and do Yoshi's voice. She really loved him and his parents, and was just concerned for them. What's even worse is that if she started getting more curious and questioned him more to try and help the investigation, then she could've been in the same exact situation as them.

Eh….ol’ chazzle dazzle was caught pretty much immediately. He did the laziest, sloppiest attempt at a cover up. Left a ton of evidence. Went door to door asking to see neighbors surveillance footage, only after he was forced to report his parents as “missing”. There was footage of that (disturbing) raging fire place fire on a 4th of July weekend. The digital trail he left. Him dumping his dad’s torso at the property of his girlfriend with both her mom and her partner literally right there. Like……it wouldn’t have taken much of any kind of investigation to bust him is what I’m saying. Yes, I do feel bad for Kat as she did come across as not only very naive but pretty immature for her age in her initial interview. I think chazzle dazzle (nickname he gave himself) saw that in her and exploited it. That and her mom, Dulce seemed like such a kind, sweet woman as well. Dulce’s partner though? Naw. She told it like it was on the stand. Her testimony roasted Chandler and was actually great to see. I just know he was seething but she was telling the truth!!!!! He was a pale, creepy, 23 year old man with no car who was clearly taking advantage of his 18 yr old GF and she saw it. Idk. I really do hope Kat and her momma are alright. Mitchell and his now wife, as well. I can’t even imagine. Chandler? Meh. I hope his self given nickname chazzle dazzle sticks with his crazy self in prison. 🤷🏻♀️

That “I’m ready when you are”from his dad is really sweet actually. I of course don’t know the tone of how he said it to his son but as a parent, it sounds like the parent was willing to be accepting of things, and just wanted an explanation and to help. These cases are weird to me that end up this way with a person losing their mind to lies after lies and feeling like they have no where to turn or no way out. It’s Especially mind blowing because the liar in the situation is usually surrounded by most loving, understanding supportive people! I couldn’t imagine the amount of sadness and confusion For the family, victims, community and detectives.

Hey, as someone who was at uni and hid the fact that they were failing out from their parents, I just want to leave a quick message for other uni/college students. Many people struggle in tertiary education. Its okay. But dont try to hide it. I understand that not everyone's parents are great, but its so easy to build up parent's expectations in your head, but the reality is that most parents just want you to be okay. It definitely seemed like this kid's parents were just worried for him. Even if your parents react badly, it will save you both money and so much stress to just tell SOMEONE. It's gonna be okay ❤

1) I love the makeup look. I would love more purple looks! 2) His poor brother. Whenever I hear about these cases for some reason I immediately think about weddings/ engagements. Like imagine Chandler’s older brother being engaged or getting married and their partner is like “so where’s your family? How come I never met them?” upon initial meeting, so you have to explain the situation and this lingers through your relationship (and earlier relationships before this that didn’t work out so you’re constantly repeating traumatic events). Then comes time for the mother and son dance. Like who dances with Chandler’s brother at that moment? Who dances with his partner when it’s time for the in laws to dance with their new family member? What happens when Chandler’s brother has children of his own and he has to explain why his family isn’t there for them? It’s just all around sad.

@@ilonam6820You are smart to realize that different countries have different policies, but the FERPA mentioned by the first commenter is a strict set of U.S. laws governing the privacy of students' educational information at various stages of the educational process. At the post-secondary level, parents' access to an adult student's info is extremely limited, particularly if they aren't footing the bill. Same prison that Dahmer went to as well. Although, Chandler would not be as low on that totem pole in the prison because it wasn't kids. Chris needs 24/7 security or he'll meet Dahmer's fate by another inmate who's got nothing else to lose. It's unlikely chandler would associate with Chris if he knows these things. Prisons in Wisco have interesting hierarchy. Dodge is it's own specialty.

According to Danielle Kristy, Chandler and Watts are buds 😂 I have no idea if that's true or not, but it made me cringe. Watts was transferred there due to security reasons. Not sure why anyone thought he'd be safer in Dodge
@NerdyPengin7 ай бұрын
@@jesclifford88 Lots of people in Dodge with nothing more to lose and lots of time. History shows unfavorability to certain crimes (children and women in that order). Realistically, associating with watts/brooks is sketchy moves that halderson could make. The association rule is strong within the prison. However, I once read that "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". I'd rather watts, halderson, and brooks all know about this code and live in constant fear that their own actions can have deadly consequences once convicted and booked into prison. I think that self-torture is suitable for a long life lived always watching their own six. No amount of words or cutting a life short could bring the victims back, and the people who love and adore the victims have a massive uphill battle directly caused by those who did the crimes. Regardless, I hope all the victims rest in peace and those affected by their loss can reconcile with their grief in a healthy manner on their own time.

I followed this story when it first broke. I remember watching his heartbroken brother reading the victim impact statement before his sentencing. They looked like dauting supportive parents and he repaid their love with a knife to their back(literally)! I don't know how he could've fooled them for so long, I mean the mere fact that he was sitting at home while claiming to be working for a INSURANCE COMPANY alone was a major clue!!! RIP

i went to school with him, met his parents as well. I remember them being super nice people and always willing to help extra at school functions. it was crazy for my friend group to see his posts on facebook about his parents "going missing" and then see the news reports from the local police department a few days later.

I worked at a funeral home that did cremations and the gross fact is people burning smell amazing, like a charbroiled burger. It took me months to realize the neighbors weren't BBQing every morning and my tummy was in fact growling from the smells coming from the retort 😬 BBQ smells plus 4th of July holiday weekend means the neighbors wouldn't have suspected a thing.

Love that the theme song is coming back, I've personally missed it. Ive been watching Bailey Sarian for like 4 years now. Ive tried watching other true crime & makeup channels (and some just true crime) but in my humble opinion none of them compare to Bailey at all. The way she explains the case/story I dont get lost or confused and because of my ADHD sometimes its hard to completely capture my attention without me starting to do something (or several different things lol) while trying to watch or listen but because of how Bailey tells the information and just her personality i dont get side tracked and start doing other things
