Josephina absolutely amazed me. What a strong willed, beautiful woman. She conducted an absolutely brilliant plan and heroically saved the other women, along with herself. What an amazing person! I seriously cannot believe that anyone could try to paint this hero as some sort of accomplice. It's horrible that something like that happened to her. I'm so glad she got therapy and is now so much happier. You go girl!

As someone who was in a similar situation, where my then 'partner' kept me locked in his apartment for nearly 4 years, I can attest to the fact that there are hardly any resources to help victims of this kind of trauma. There are very few resources out there, other than general therapy or hospitalization and it is genuinely saddening. What's even worse, is that there may be more victims of wrongful imprisonment out there who have yet to be found or escaped from these situations. Thank you for bringing this case to light, and I can genuinely sympathize with these poor women who were taken advantage of. (PS, sorry for any grammatical errors)

Mars Wells It’s in the triad of sociopathy. They used to considered that sign of predicting future violence. Bed wetting, setting fires, and cruelty to animals were the factors they looked at for people predisposed to committing a violent act. I’m not sure if that’s still holds true today.

Short story....I lived in Phoenix Arizona back in 2000” and this happened during July 😬 my family and my self use to live in an apartment complex where we had a older lady neighbor that we didn’t talk to or anything she kept to her self as we did but we would always see her leave to the grocery store every morning. One day we didn’t see her come out of her house but we didn’t think nothing of it. But than that one day Turned into a week and that’s when we started to smell that unforgettable smell. We called the cops. The old lady had a heart attack in her apartment. It smelled really bad u could never forget that smell.

The smell is very terrible, like someone rotting. (I have lived down the street from an old woman who died in her home. You may have smelled her because she was rotting for so long. I’ve been in morgues and the smell is horrid and very distinctive, but a body doesn’t start to smell until 3 days after death. If he cooked her before those three days chances are it really did smell like a roast because a number of cannibals say humans taste and smell like pork.

Were he old womans windows open? Someone died near where we lived. Nobody suspected a thing as the poor guy often worked away from home. Then flies, I mean a lot of flies, were seen at windows. Mid summer. All the windows were closed up, that's partly why the neighbours assumed he was away...then came the worrying sight of the flies and, tho they tried, no-one could get hold of him! So police were called and the poor guy had, unfortunately, died of natural circumstances and had been there quite a few weeks!!

Some of my earliest memories are of being molested by my older brother. I continued to live with daily physical abuse by one of my brothers and neglect by my mother. I was sexually assaulted in high school and even later in the Army. Then I spent a year in a very abusive relationship. I finally got free of him and openly accused my family abusers. I am a warrior!

Glad that Josephine got everyone out and she ended having a nice ending with people she loves. She didn't deserve any of the blame cause without her the other girls would have died

I’m so glad Josephina came out of that whole experience on the other side. I thought for a minute there that she wasn’t going to make it.

Rest in peace to Josephina, what an amazing and strong person to make sure the other women were saved, even though it meant she had to endure more abuse. I'm happy for her that she found peace and love later in life, she deserved the best

Dude Josephine is strong AF. To act like she is just ok with this and keep dealing with all that just because she was afraid for those other women...just wow.
