hey as a fan of using very oigmented blush that sometimes isnt as pigmented.... i suggest scrapping the top layer off the blush and then trying it 😊

I like blushes like this, its like the difference between a 2B pencil and a 2H pencil, it lasts way longer looks less clownish and is very buildable

I feel like she rub the blush with her fingers and the oil from the finger transfer to the blush hence the lack of pigmentation. This is actually a gorgeous blush, and I wear it every day!

Absolutely! Dior also isn’t targeted towards heavy makeup, their products tend to be very light weight and buildable, even the pro collection is buildable, but they all blend very seamlessly and look great on the skin, whether dry or oily or acne prone and their shade ranges for their foundation is amazing!

Pigment isn’t really those blushes’ thing. It’s supposed to be a buildable wash of color with a slight glow from within look. They have another blush line that is much more pigmented. These are supposed to be in line with the lip glow, which is a sheer lip product range.

@@DitzyandGlitzyno it’s a stage blush. It’s meant to be worn in front of cameras, it doesn’t have a lot of pigment because it’s always easier to add then take away from makeup. It’s meant to be built up to the perfect blush. You can use a lot and it will be pigmented, but people expect eyeshadow coverage in a stage blush.

Yeah I hate blushes that are just BOOM in your face, I want a light pink glow not clown cheeks 😂 which when I use to wear blush that’s how I looked , looking back I’m like oh dear lord that blush was blushing to hard! I wish I went for a very light look!

I honestly prefer a buildable blush way more than one that’s really pigmented because I already have a lot of redness in my cheeks and if I slip and put too much I always end up having to conceal over it because it gives clown

im usually a light-medium shade but can get really tanned sometimes too so i much prefer brown girl friendly products like these. the rosewood one shows up more on camera and looks really pretty on you like a natural flush!

I’m pretty white, and that cherry shade looks good on me too! I just go in with a fluffy brush and a light hand, and it looks very similar on me. I have seen hardly anyone talk about that color, but it’s so fantastic!

i think a lot of high end makeup brands make ‘no-makeup makeup’ tbh. i’ve noticed how natural and sheer they are compared to others. plus they use a lot of their own stuff for their runways so it makes sense.

As someone who likes to wear minimal makeup, I actually really enjoy these. They don’t look too clownish and can be built. I don’t use a foundation because I have a strict skincare routine so I needed just a little color added to my cheeks. These are easily one of my favorite blushes. Just me though, everyone has different opinions.

I feel like with the two new shades it’s not a matter of pigment. Like the shade rosewood just didn’t show up as much because it is closer to your skin tone. Cherry has more contrast, so it shows up more. But contrast≠pigment

I think build-able blush is better than off the bat super pigmented blush. As someone who wears A LOT of blush, I think for those who like the shade and the formula but not TOO MUCH pigment it's better to have build-able but not invisible colors.

I feel like it would be easier if companies created makeup lines for specific skin colors and ethnicities in mind. I find that universal makeup doesn’t really appeal to anyone whereas makeup specifically curated for certain skin colors is a lot better

I'm not that pale but they're pretty pigmented on me and they're buildable and blur my pores. I think the colour matters alot because the new colours probably wouldn't work for me. Not every blush formulation needs to be 100 every application

I’m tan, not even brown, I have those blushes and they barley put out any pigmentation on me. I even gave them to my white friends and they said it barley had anything for them too. I can tell you layered those blushes on your face bc that’s what I had to do too. 😭😭😭

While I like subtlety, the lavender blush doesn’t show on my cheeks even when I rub the brush intensely. It’s weird, reminds me of how some blushes behave with a hard pan. Wish I could have the kaleidos one but to each their one

Also high end products specially those that come from companies who are originally from fragrance will not have pigmented products it’s always going to be sheer with their signature fragrance to it. These brands always have better lip products or glowy base products bc these brands promote that natural glowy almost no makeup look.

I totally get where you’re coming from, but I don’t think pigmentation and price correlate in makeup. For example, I bought a Tom Ford eye quad. They are not super pigmented. They ARE however extremely smoothing on the eyes and easy to blend. So that’s why I do like the dior blushes. For those exact reasons-smoothing and buildable. If it’s buildable, it’s likely extremely blendable. And for someone like me on the opposite end of the shade range, I need there to be products like that or I’d look clownish every time. I used to believe if something has pigment, it can be sheered out to work with my skin-nope. That’s not the truth. You can only sheer something out so much before it breaks apart and looks patchy and clings. Not to mention that I think it takes more time to be super precise and careful with applying a pigmented product vs building up the pigment of one. I’m glad they expanded the shade range but I hope that the beauty industry maintains a range instead of producing all high pigment products. Like I wish everyone did what Kosas did with their cream blush duos. Same shade; two intensities.

heres the thing, if those r the only shade that blush has then yes it needs more colors and is not brown girl friendly. but if u r just getting colors that clearly wont work on darker skin i dont think thats the oeoducts fault. not every sade is meant fir dark skin and not every shade is meant for light skin

I think those are hard pressed formulated and its design to be that way. In order for pigments to show up on application, its best to apply with a brush.
