Love the complexion!! What color do you use in the huda concealer? I think I need to start brightening the center of my face. I fear my foundation is a tad dark and when I add bronzer it just looks too dark. Maybe brightening will help (or getting a lighter shade of foundation haha)

Hi!! They are similar - ish, the Girlactik definitely gives more of a shimmering glow versus the Charlotte tilbury one is more of a luminous natural glow. Also the color range is totally different.

Hi-I’ve been using Luminous Silk for years and I’m 53-it lasts if you use the Luminous Silk primer first (stuff is a game changer), let it completely dry down, then apply the foundation, top with a loose powder (I use Laura Mercier loose powder) and a setting spray and if I do that, I find it lasts pretty much 10-12 hours. Hope this helps! 😊

@Cristy Glagola son's wedding is in 2 weeks. I did purchase the LSF and it's so nice, I've already had compliments on my skin. Have you tried other primers? I'm mostly concerned about it lasting. Pores are not a problem, some texture. Could be hot and humid in Chicago! I'm 65.

@@tmhart43 I haven’t tried too many other primers because I don’t like the silicone feel that a lot of them have, especially now that I’m older and my skin is drier….have you ever tried a setting spray? My favorite is Urban Decay All Nighter (original formula). It really works! They have several different formulas. Beware- not all setting sprays are created equal. Here’s my Luminous Silk makeup routine that lasts and looks gorgeous, especially in photographs: -LS primer (let it dry completely) -LS foundation (let dry completely) -LS concealer on areas that need a tad more coverage (it’s not the best for dark circles so I use a different concealer for that) -bronzer and blush, highlighter if I’m feeling extra fancy -UD setting spray (the bottle says spray it in an ‘X’ pattern but I spray A LOT all over my face! It leaves a beautiful, slightly dewy finish if that’s what you’re after. Again, I hope this helps you and have a great time at the wedding!
