I’m had the same experience it those JCAT palettes. I could make them work but there are definitely better formulas at that price point

I've been using the Ulta matte eye primer (a less expensive alternative to the Urban Decay primer) for a long time and love it! And that's coming from someone with oily lids haha. I'll have to check out the NYX oils. Have you tried the 3-in-1 face palette from Ulta (blush, bronzer, highlighter)? It's so good! I'm sorry the J Cat palette didn't work for you. I have four of their smaller palettes from Ulta and use them primarily for the shimmers which are so beautiful! I also ended up buying their larger blue and green palettes out of curiosity and so far, so good. Again, I use them primarily for the shimmers, but I've had good results with the mattes too.

Those NYX lip oils are sooooo good! Ulta had a sale a little while ago and I got a few of them. The blush looks good on you. Have you tried the Ulta matte face primer? I have dry skin too, it’s not drying at all and does a great job of pore blurring. I haven’t tried J Cat eyeshadow, but I haven’t heard much good yet.

I love the Ulta tinted lip oils! I like the sheer ones too but the tinted are my faves. Made For Mauve is such a good MLBB shade for me and I reach for it often.

I'm actually placing an Ulta order today, so this was really helpful! I too have had issues with J. Cat items arriving broken! I'm not sure how Ulta is storing them, but it seems like a weirdly common issue. Thank you for all you do! 💕💕
