Congratulations 🎉. Yes for a smaller apartment that is expensive for movers. Back when I moved in 2010 it was about $300. I bought some furniture once and the guy who delivered the furniture let me know he was a mover. He said for this small apartment it was quick & not a lot of things in his opinion. Fast forward to 2024 & it’s just unreasonable.

Yeah for $886, they need to pack and unpack when arrive in the new spot!! Hahahaha but times have changed and everything is so expensive. But the challenge with my move will be the stairs at my apartment! But imma get it done!

Congrats girl! U-Haul has movers you can hire that’s what I did and it’s cheaper. Look into that for sure. I was quoted 1500 and paid under 600 when I booked thru U-Haul

I paid over $900 last year to move. They did take furniture down and reassemble for me though. I just had yo have the boxes packed. They wrapped the couches, bed etc. that’s what takes them so long. I miss living around my family to help though. We would’ve had it done in 2 hours for just the price of the U-Haul.
